My girlfriend and I recently stayed in Ilhabela at this chale for the months of June and July. We fell in love with the island. The scenery is overwhelmingly beautiful and the people are incredibly nice. There really isn't anything not to like about the island. I would definitely recommend Ilhabela to anyone looking to get away from it all. We went for a total of 62 days and it wasn't long enough. Highlights and things we would recommend are: Castelhanos Beach (make sure you eat at Marebar, it was our favorite place on the island), Juliao beach, Ilha Sul Restaurant, a hike to Bonete, visiting the countless waterfalls and relaxing on any of the amazing beaches. We also need to mention that the property owner was extremely nice and helpful with assisting us in planning our trip. He answered every single question we had and talked us through all the details. Make sure you take a jeep tour with Eduardo. The guy is great and it's a wonderful expierence. The chale was fun and close to a lot of beaches. Ilhabela is amazing and it's a place like no other.
