Only small or medium sized housetrained dogs allowed. No cats.

Located approx 2 miles south from Burt Lake. Across road from Rail-trail for biking, hiking, etc.. Frontage on Sturgeon river for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, etc...

Sturgeon river is the fastest river in lower michigan. It has a 95% canoe tipover rate, and is spring fed so it is crystal-clear and chilly all year. It is also a Blue Ribbon Trout Stream.

$100 deposit holds dates.

Indian River is the ideal location to boat, fish, hunt, camp, golf, bike, swim, jog, hike, kayak, canoe, raft, tube, sail, ORV, snowmobile, ski, sightsee, bird watch, mushroom hunt, skate, play tennis/baseball/basketball/soccer, skateboard, berry pick, geocache, horseback ride, tour, dine or shop.
Indian river is located in the center of Michigan’s longest Inland Waterway, including 4 rivers (Cheboygan, Indian, Upper Black and Crooked Rivers) and 4 lakes (Mullett, Burt, Crooked and Pickerel Lakes). Burt and Mullett Lakes are the 4th and 5th largest lakes in Michigan. Two Blue Ribbon Trout Streams, the Sturgeon and Pigeon Rivers, flow into Burt and Mullett Lakes respectively with the Sturgeon River being honored as the lower peninsula’s fastest flowing river.
The area is surrounded by 180,000+ acres of State Land in Cheboygan County and close to the renowned Pigeon River Country State Forest, which is approximately 105,000 acres and boasts the largest free roaming elk herd east of the Mississippi River.
