Picturesque and Serene

This unit was well decorated, comfortable, and offered numerous amenities. We loved keeping the sliders open... it gave an indoor/outdoor feel to the place. Listening to the waves crashing on shore was peaceful and restful. The beach is literally just a stone's throw away, very clean, and welcoming. There was a big thunderstorm our first night and we had a great view from the balcomy... also made for some great shell hunting the next morning. We didn't realize until later that the sofa in the living room opened to a sleeper... can't get much closer to actually sleeping on the beach than that. I wasn't sure what to expect for mid-December and was pleasantly surprised... great temps for sunbathing, walking the beach, playing golf and other outdoor activities. Not a lot of people... we felt like we had the pool and hot tub all to ourselves. I really liked the fact that we were within walking distance to several restaurants. We tried a lot but our favorites were Guppys, PJs Oyster Bar, Keegans, and then traveling down to Madfish in St. Pete's Beach. Because we had been to Guppys before and didn't make it to their sister restaurant (E & E Stakeout Grill) during our last trip, we made sure to try that out as well. Lots of others, but these were our favorites. All in all, kitchen was well stocked, lots of beach equipment, lots of storage, and beds were comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay, owner was great to work with, and we'll definitely think about coming back again!
