Description of the Indian Rocks Beach vacation cottage rental

Our beach cottage is light and bright with an open airy floor plan and tropical garden patio area. This cottage has been completely renovated and updated inside and out. Very clean, comfortable, private and quiet!

Location is perfect, just a 3 minute walk to the beach and across the street from the intercaostal waterway. We have a 2 person kayak and 2 adult and 1 child-size bicycles available for use during your stay with us.

Everything you need for a day at the beach... sun umbrellas, beach mats, coolers, beach chairs, beach blankets/towels, buckets & shovels, rafts, fishing poles, etc...

Owners are on-site and happy to provide additional services such as grocery shopping (prior to arrival & during your stay) . Call or email us for more photos of the cottage and information regarding the area.

The cottage living space is elevated and requires the ability to climb stairs to gain entrance.

Most pets welcome - please inquire.

Area Description

We have one of the best locations in Indian Rocks Beach, only 5 houses from the Gulf beach access and Suncoast Beach Trolley stop. Short walk to parks, nature preserve, intercoastal waterway, dining, shopping, fishing, art center, library, historical museum and leash-free dog park. Slightly removed from the main barrier island Blvd., our cottage is very private and quiet (no traffic or construction noise). Just a great place to kick-back and relax!

Daily Beach Trolley service is available to take you from the north end of the barrier islands (Clearwater Beach), to the south end (Pass-A-Grille). This is a great way to spend the day enjoying live entertainment, food and shopping in other local beach towns.

A 40 minute drive will take you to Tampa attractions (Busch Gardens, Florida aquarium) and 90 minutes will take you to Orlando (Disney, MGM, Universal, etc.).

Two airports are close by. Tampa International(TIA) is a 40 minute drive and St. Petersburg/Clearwater International(PIE) is 25 minutes.

"We loved the entire experience! Indian Rocks Beach is the perfect destination to just get away...we went to a lot of different beaches up and down the coast from Clearwater to St. Pete, and Indian Rocks Beach was our absolute favorite! Beautiful sand, warm, clear ocean, and gorgeous sunsets. I also loved the little eateries within IRB, all within walking distance! We tried a lot of the local quisine, and loved it. Some of the places we stopped in were Guppy's, Cuso's, the Thai resturant, PJs, Pinky's Ice Cream (the best in IRB), TJ's, Keegan's, and a bunch more. Also, using the PSTA trolley was a great option for us, so there was no need to rent a car. I would highly recommend staying in Indian Rocks Beach. It was an absolute pleasure!"

We just wanted to thank you for the wonderful week. Your cottage was the perfect place to come on our honeymoon. We looked at all sorts of options for our stay in Florida from condos to hotels, and we are so glad we found your rental. For others looking at staying here, its location is perfect. It took us about three minutes to walk from the house to having our feet in the water. At first when we were looking for a place to stay, we wanted something right on the beach, but this is actually better. We were away from the noise of the main street and other tourists, and felt like we had a more quiet and relaxing getaway because of it, yet still felt like we were right on the beach.
Everything about the rental was even better than we expected. It was very clean, new, and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay from laundry soap to beach towels, chairs, and coolers. The cottage is also in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors, and it's nice to be so close to the inter-coastal waterway as well so we could see dolphins and different varieties of birds.
Brian and Rox, you were awesome hosts! We felt so comfortable and welcome here. You were so helpful and we appreciate everything you did for us to make this such a wonderful and memorable vacation. We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for perfect accomodations for a great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. A quiet setting, conveniently located, in short, a perfect get away! The accommodations are very nice inside and out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Everything was clean and well arranged. Our maintenance issue (the shower) was promptly dealt with. Frankly I didn't think it would be fixed without tearing a wall or two apart! We were so pleased to find it running at full capacity after a day of walking the beach and visiting a nearby nature preserve.

"We spent a month with Brian and Rox when we rented their condo in Indian Rocks Beach. The condo is lovely, looks exactly like the pictures on their website so we had no unpleasant surprises. It was very clean and neat and had everything we needed. The sunsets on the beach were breathtaking and the food at the wide selection of restaurants close by was absolutely fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying there to our family and friends. Brian & Rox were great hosts!"
