Description of the Indian Rocks Beach vacation cottage rental

This 2 story home was built in 1925 and has 2 private floors. The cottage offers the ever harder to find quaint, "Old Florida" atmosphere, yet equipped with the modern conveniences one is used to in today’s world. The cottage is on the second row of houses right by the beach and only a few minutes drive or walk to shopping and restaurants. This cottage is two doors away from a trolley ride which allows one to explore many miles along the gulf beaches. The cottage is a one-hundred step walk away from the pristine white sands and sparkling water of Indian Rocks Beach or the "Kooky Coconut" restaurant which serves delicious sandwiches, tacos, burgers, and ice cream.
Our downstairs cottage has 2 bedrooms. The Master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed, a full size bed, and a twin trundle. We also have a convertible full sleeper in living room (accommodates 1 adult or 2 children). There is 1 bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. When you rent the lower cottage, you have access to a front screened sunporch with seating and there is also a large courtyard in the back of the property with a large sun deck and seating.
The upstairs cottage has 1 queen bedroom and 2 convertible queen sleepers (one is also located in the bedroom). There is also a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen in our upstairs cottage. Our upstairs cottage is "dog friendly". Please view our policy regarding dogs under our "Rental Rates & Policies" tab for more information. There is a large balcony for the upstairs cottage with outdoor seating and a small gas grill.
Our beautiful outdoor courtyard has an outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a gas grill (1 gas grill for EACH cottage), a covered area with laundry machines, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, and beach toys for your use. We have plenty of parking and separate designated parking areas for both the upstairs and downstairs cottages. Our tropical landscaping, decks, walkways, palms and oaks all contribute to creating a very relaxing "Old Florida" feeling. Our guests from Europe, Canada and from all over the USA have just loved their holidays spent with us.
Our beach vacation rentals on Indian Rocks Beach, Florida are still a relatively well kept secret on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Uncrowded, unspoiled, it can give the impression of a private Florida Beach Vacation area! Never a problem with finding a spot on the beach sand to spread your towel, or fish on the surf, even during high season here on the Florida Gulf Coast!
We are a short 45 minute drive from Busch Gardens and a 90 minute drive from Disney World! Have the best of both worlds - beach and amusement parks!

Cool cottage

October 24, 2012

Our family spent the weekend at the cottage, and we very much enjoyed our visit. The cottage was clean, it's close to the beach, and they have a nice sized deck to enjoy dinner and the sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The bedrooms were spacious enough for our family of six. We were worried about having people stay above us but we didn't hear any extra noises. Highly recommend this cottage, we will definitely stay again on our next visit.

Wonderful cozy beach cottoge

This is charming old Florida cottage furnished with all the comforts of home. Lovely area for casual dining. Beach is very uncommercial and beautiful. Owner renter very easy and nice to work with. Would definitely stay again !

Escape to the beach

We had a wonderful time at the Beach Trail Cottage. This 1925 cottage is homey and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving feast. We will be back to enjoy more sunny days and sunsets on the pristine beach.

The cottage is even cuter than the pictures show. We had a wonderful stay! We were so close to the beach, and being able to eat in made it very affordable. We only went out one night. Love the big front porch and the great back deck. The bedrooms were spacious and pleasant, and our kids had a blast. I'd happily recommend the place to anyone who wants a great quiet week!
