Description of the Indian Shores vacation condo rental

Wiggle your toes in the sand, watch the dolphins play and native birds fly by while enjoying a vacation that doesn't break the bank in these hard economic times.

Our condo has been recently remodeled and updated from top to bottom. Vaulted ceilings in the living room and dining area lend to a feel of spaciousness. Two sliding glass doors off of these areas bring the outside in. Have coffee on the wonderful covered balcony while watching the boats cruise up and down the intercoastal. Two comfortable queen bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and new fans make for a peaceful rest at night. The third bedroom is in the loft, up the winding staircase which kids love. Brand new bathrooms are sparkling clean. A stacked washer and dryer for your convenience is in the laundry room. Just added high speed internet and phone.

The pool is directly on the intercoastal, the beach a one minute walk. Enjoy Florida as it was meant to be.

Area Description

Pinellas county has tons of activities to offer. Of course the beach and pool are right outside your door. Jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling, canoeing, boating, fishing or just digging your toes in the sand - if water sports are your thing, this is the place! Halfway between Clearwater Beach and St. Petersburg Beach, you can enjoy all of the activities, shops & restaurants both towns have to offer and everything in between. Rent a boat and cruise the intercoastal or visit one of the many State parks close by. John's Pass is a favorite for local shopping and there are restaurants galore up and down Gulf Blvd. Busch Gardens is just across Tampa Bay and Orlando attractions such as Disney, Universal & Sea World are about an hour and forty five minutes away. Like to gamble? Take a casino cruise, visit Tampa Bay Downs, the greyhound races, jai alai, or stop at the Seminole Casino, all within a short drive from the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. Nicely decorated and very clean. The condo is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. Easy access to the gulf for morning walks and sunsets.

This rental property is in a beautiful location and it is clean and very well maintained. The sliding glass doors on the deck overlook the Intracoastal waterway with lots of birds, fish and other wildlife. Public access to the beach is across Gulf. Blvd. which is 2 lanes only. The owner provides a list of things to do and see while there. The ocean and beach are beautiful there with white sand and gentle waves. The pool is also very clean and well maintained located on the intercoastal. There is a beach trolley that goes up and down beach. Crabby Bill's is a favorite of ours. We have already reserved our dates in 2010.

Everything was wonderful, the minute we walked in the door, we felt at home. Right across from the beach with a gorgeous view on the intercoastal, it is heaven. Every piece of information you possible could want is given to you either beforehand or in a packet in the condo. Annie was an absolutle joy to deal with, no matter waht the request. I hope we return soon. Thank you!

My family stayed at Dolphins Run in late June. The condo was clean with all of the furnishings we needed. It's just a short walk across the street to the beach and my crew had a wonderful time. The beaches aren't crowded at all. My teenagers went to Clearwater a couple of days which is only a 10 minute drive away and very convenient.

The food was great. We recommend Crabby Bill's, Timeout at John's Pass and of course, doughnuts from Lighthouse for breakfast daily!

Best Vacation Ever!
Dolphins Run was all it said it was and way more. The location couldn't be more perfect. It was easy to get to, the neighborhood quiet enough to be relaxing, yet a fun night out on the town was a trolley ride or short drive away. We were most impressed with how clean the property was. Our kids had fun with the large assortment of beach and pool toys (pool was also very nice). Books, beach towels, portable grill are all there. The boys loved the loft and said the beds were "super comfy." The Mini Golf that is a short walk away was the best one they had ever been to! This from boys who have done every mini golf Wisconsin Dells has to offer! We did a quick trip to Orlando for one day, went to a wedding (iron and ironing board are there!). The owners are awesome and bent over backwards to make us feel at home. We found this online and can't wait to get back, won't be soon enough!

We had a great time. We thought your place was perfect and fantastic for our family. Our sons loved looking for shells on the beach. The loft was great for them to have their own "getaway." We went to Busch Gardens and Sea World and they all loved it. Smugglers Cove Mini Golf by you was a huge hit. It was so much fun. We were sad to leave.
