Description of the Indian Shores vacation condo rental

Magnificent 2-bedroom/2-bathroom resort condominium vacation rental located in an oceanfront property on Indian Shores Beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Indian Shores is a unique, relaxed gulf coast town with a beautiful beach, a wide variety of fabulous upscale and family restaurants, entertainment, and wonderful shopping. Our spacious 1100 square foot condo is 20 miles west of Tampa in the middle of an island with Clearwater to the north and St. Petersburg Beach to the south.

Surrounded by warm, gentle surf and plenty to do... or do nothing but savor the relaxed atmosphere and walk barefoot on the beautiful soft, white sandy beach right outside your door.

Our large heated pool has plenty of sun, shade, lounging chairs, and tables with umbrellas and is a great place for a poolside picnic.

Our spacious, luxury condo is completely equipped with all amenities. It has been updated and redecorated, including beautiful new ceramic tile throughout the entire apartment, new living room furniture with queen sleeper sofa, new master bedroom furniture with queen pillow-top mattress bed. Cable TV in all rooms, DVD,VCR, and FREE HIGH SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS, fully-equipped, full-size kitchen includes coffeemaker, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, all dishes and utensils; everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal for your family to enjoy after a full, active day on the beach. There is a private balcony with patio furniture, faces Tiki Gardens, a park across the street. The second bedroom has two double beds and separate full bath.

The onsite building management highly maintains both the building and individual units. Easy access to all central Florida's world-famous attractions. Walk to minimarket, great restaurants, shops and entertainment. Enjoy beachside volleyball, swimming, sunning, snorkeling, shelling, sand castles, fishing, boogie boarding, parasailing, miniature golf, public golf courses and glorious sunsets. Watch the dolphins traveling the beautiful gulf coastline.

John's Pass Historic Fishing Village and Boardwalk is Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction and is located 10 minutes south on Gulf Blvd. This quaint turn-of-the-century fishing pier features more than 100 unique shops, inviting eateries, and an 1,100-foot long pier.

Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary is located right in Indian Shores. This nonprofit organization is the largest wild bird hospital and rehabilitation center in the United States. They are open 365 days/year and admission is free.

Tiki Gardens is located right across the street on Gulf Blvd. It offers nature and equestrian trails, fishing, canoeing, observation tower, pier, and umbrella/cabana rental.

John's Adventure Island is 30 acres of water-drenched fun in the sun featuring the combination of high-speed thrills and tropical, tranquil surroundings for groups of all ages. In a soothing Key West atmosphere, experience an unrivaled blend of corkscrews, water falls, a wave pool, children's water playground and other attractions such as outdoor cafes, picnic and sunbathing areas, gift shops, a championship white-sand volleyball complex.

Orlando with its theme parks is approximately 1.5 hours drive. Busch Garden, Ybor City in Tampa and the bay areas attractions are all within an hour's drive.

Salt Rock Grill - probably the best restaurant in Indian Shores is upscale and dressier, but also maintains a casual friendliness. The outstanding food and service make this a special dining treat. Located at 19325 Gulf Blvd., Indian Shores. (make sure to call ahead for reservations.)

Crabby Bills - eat great seafood in a rustic, casual atmosphere where you can enjoy Florida stone crabs (in season), oysters, conch fritters and wonderful creamy clam chowder. Great place to bring the kids. Located at 401 Gulf Blvd., Indian Rocks Beach. Get there early or be prepared to wait.

PJ's Oyster House - another great restaurant to bring the kids. A very casual, reasonably-priced seafood restaurant. Located at 500 1st Street, Indian Rocks Beach.

May is a wonderful time to visit Pinellas County. The gulf temperature was perfect, weather great and restaurants not too crowded. Holiday Villa’s II has good size rooms and enjoyable pool. We consider this a very relaxing vacation!

This was the third year that me and my family have stayed in the Indian Shores area - but the first year that we did it right!! Our accomodations were first class all the way including the world class view from the double balcony. The condo was roomy and decorated in a family friendly way. We did not want for anything, and were very impressed at how well the grounds and pool were maintained. We hope it is the beginning of a long relationship for us!

We gave them little advance notice and we reserved these accomodation after the 1st of February for the last 2 weeks of February and had a great time. Condo was adequate for our needs and if the occasion should arise would return to Holiday Villa 2.

The unit in which we stayed was 418. This unit was emaculate. The furnishings and finishing of this place was very well done. The view was woth a million and we were lucky enough to have great weather. Recommended to anyone.

We rented another condo owened by the same people on the other side of the building over looking the Intra Costal Waterway. Excellent value accomodation, very helpful on-site staff. Condo was very clean and exactly what we had been led to beleive it would be - perfect for a family with young children. We hope to return again next year.
