Description of the Indian Shores vacation cottage rental
1925 Gulf front home converted by my grandparents into seaside apartments. Old Florida beach house and carriage house located right in the most beautiful spot on the islands south of Clearwater. The island is so narrow here that the white same beach is out your front door and the boat channel is out your back door. We offer a relaxing stay in a true tropical island setting surrounded by water. Unit #4 is on the second floor. It is our romantic getaway with 9 tall windows overlooking the Gulf. Guests comment that they can lay in bed in the morning and just watch the early morning beach combers looking for shells, and in the low tide they can see the dolphins surfacing and swimming around looking from small fish along the shallow sandbar. A dreamy view that you just don't get in a condo way up n the air. These homes were estates for Tampa merchants where they would take their families for the summer sea breezes and simple pleasures of just walking the long sandy shore in the afternoon and enjoying time away from the city. There are not many of them still around. This vacation to the beach try something different. Step back in time and feel the easy relaxed pace that is island living at its best.Stay in a seaside apartment in a 1925 Beach house.
