Lakeside Country Club is located in Citrus County in the West Central portion of Florida known as "The Nature Coast." Bounded by the Gulf of Mexico to the West and the Tsala-Apopka chain of lakes to the East, Citrus County is the perfect spot for every golfer who wants to get away from the big city... Citrus County offers plenty of recreational activities such as scuba diving with manatees at the natural springs in nearby Crystal River, or a trip to the Homosassa Springs State Wildlife Park to enjoy the diverse plants and animals that are indigenous to Florida. Citrus County has two major hospitals, four daily newspapers, seven libraries, two museums, over 300 restaurants, and many shopping malls.
Lakeside Golf and Country Club is 70 minutes from Orlando International Airport and 75 minutes from Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, and the Florida Mall.

I couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay here. The home is marvelous! It is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and gets lots of Florida sunshine through it's many windows. My kids and I didn't want to go home...so we stayed an extra day. We would love to come back and stay here again some day. If you're looking for a place to stay and get away from it all, this is definetly the place.

This house was just what we were looking for! It was beautiful and spacious-- the perfect place for a family reunion. The kids had a blast playing in the pool, and the screened in area was great when it came to avoiding the bugs! There is so much to do near by-- we only wished we'd had more time. Staying here was much more convenient and cheaper than a hotel. We would definitely stay again!
