Description of the Irish Hills vacation cottage rental

3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage directly on Round Lake. Round Lake is a 600 acre "all sports" lake. No Public access to this lake, thus less "crazies" on the lake. Access to rowboat and paddleboat included. Dock space available for your own boat. Sandy lake bottom at property. Good fishing on lake (including directly off dock). Cottage is fully furnished, about 1200 sq feet, with a large 15x40 patio overlooking the lake (Great Views) with patio furniture for 8. Shared (with 2 other cottages) small fire pit at waters edge. Pontoon boat available for rent for additional charge ($300/wk).

Cottage is in the Devils Lake, Manitou Beach area. About 1/3 mile to "town". Town consists of a full service restaurant/bar, party store, miniture gold/ice cream shop, pizza place, grocery store. etc. Local churches also run an old drive in movie theater. THey offer family based Christian movies on weekends (complimentary). Located in the Irish Hills. About 5 miles from Michigan International Speedway (cottage not available NASCAR race weeks).

Round lake is about 600 acres. All sports. Good fishing. Lake is very deep in spots, but very popular sandbar in middle of lake draws a decent amount of boats on weekends for swimming, partying, and relaxing.

Round Lake does connect to larger Devils Lake (about 1000 acres) but only very small boats, and jet skis can make it under the brige.
