Description of the Iron River vacation cabin rental

The following amenities are provided to our guests:

* Aluminum fishing boats (motors are available for rental from area
marinas by the day or week).

* Paddleboat is available for the pleasure of the cabin occupants.

* Three (3) docks and a sand beach.

* For the fishermen a deluxe fish cleaning house equipped with water,
a large sink, disposal and freezer for your catch.

* Located approximately 600 feet from beautiful park complete with
pavilion, basketball court, baseball field and boat landing.

Located three (3) miles east of Iron River, Michigan, The Walleye is nestled in the pines on beautiful Sunset Lake. This 600 acre lake is known for its great walleye and pike fishing as well as jumbo perch, crappie and panfish. We strive to offer quality and comfort in a relaxed clean environment

Spend a week with us and enjoy all the relaxation and enjoyment Sunset Lake has to offer. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets from your own personal deck overlooking the lake.

Bring your boat or use one provided by the resort and catch a prize lunker. Bring the family and take advantage of our sand beach, swim raft and paddle boat

Hunters will find great deer, bear, grouse and duck hunting in the many State and Federal forests. Hundreds of lakes in our area make this an ideal fishing get away.

You will not regret your decision to come and visit our breathtaking, scenic area in the heart of the Upper Peninsula. We want you to feel at home away from home creating new memories to share with family and friends. We want to earn your friendship and your return visits.

We are located 3 miles east of Iron River Michigan.
Take US 2 E. to Reiman Rd. {Across from Lucky's Bait Shop} turn North approximately 2 miles, you will see Sunset Lake and will be adjacent to public Boat Launch you will take an immediate right, go 200 ft. to the Cabins, watch for our sign on the left

Weather was great, lake was beautiful. Major draw back reserve a motor for boat in advance no one had any available to rent all week very disappointing. cabin was nice fully furnished. very cozy.
