Description of the Isla Del Sol vacation condo rental

Welcome to Beautiful Isla Del Sol Island in St. Petersburg. This 5 star, waterfront 3rd floor, corner unit condo has spectacular views of Tampa Bay, Intracoastal waters and a beautiful lake at a reasonable price.

THE MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD FOR MAY TO DECEMBER IS 2 WEEKS. ALL OTHER TIMES WILL BE MONTHLY. PLEASE CHECK OUT THE RATE SECTION.

This villa is situated very close to the hot tub and beautiful heated pool. The view from the balcony captures the beautiful waters of Tampa Bay and the sauna/pool area.

This condo also has the luxury of being in a quiet community with beautiful palm tree lined streets wrapping around a beautiful lake. The condo is surrounded by lush, well -manicured lawns and landscaping.

The area is very safe and secure. You will find many people walking around the lake at night in the warm sea breeze.

The condo has had an extensive 4 month renovation that included a new design and new amenities. The condo is now ready for the 2014/2015 rental calendar starting January 1st .

The villa presents to you a new kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops along with newly designed bathrooms and new furniture throughout the villa.

The two bedrooms have queen size beds and each have their own separate bathrooms for privacy. The kitchen comes fully equipped with new dishware and cooking utensils.

Internet (wifi) is available throughout the villa, along with 300 channels on the 50 inch and 32 inch televisions. Also free telephone calling anywhere in North America is available.

Washing machine and dryer are in the villa as well. This is our second home and great care has gone into the design of this new renovation. This condo is a no smoking residence.

Area Information

Isla Del Sol is an island surrounded by water. The island contains an 18 hole golf course in the middle of the island, along with tennis and hiking trials.

Saint Pete Beach is 5 to 10 minutes away on the Gulf of Mexico and 4 miles from Fort Desoto Park, that was ranked #1 beach in 2005.

A short distance from I-275 and 20-30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, 10 to 15 minutes to Tropicana Stadium, 15 minutes to museums( including the new Dali and Chihuly glass museums) and aquarium.

Downtown St. Petersburg has upscale restaurants , shopping, parks, the pier and outdoor concerts. Other nearby activities or sights include the pink “Don Cesar” beach hotel and resort.

There is lots to do: Parasailing, watercraft rental ( kayaking , jet water ski and sail boat rentals) biking, charter deep fishing or diving and boat tours.

Theme parks are also nearby, Lowry Park (35 minutes), Busch Gardens and Adventure Island (40 minutes), Disneyworld, Epcot and Universal Studios (90 minutes).

The View is Spectacular

My sister and I had an opportunity to stay at this beautiful property.. We were so impressed with the newly renovated condo. and modern furnishings. All the amenities are provided for your convenience. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the sunny balcony overlooking Tampa Bay. Many evenings were spent relaxing in the hot tub in the warm ocean breeze. The large salt water pool is great for swimming and meeting some of the friendly neighbours. I noticed that walking around the lake is a daily activity for many of the people in the area so we laced up our running shoes and got our daily exercise. The hosts are very friendly and go above and beyond to provide the best vacation experience. We will definitely return to this gorgeous condo at Isla Del Sol Island.

We absolutely loved our vacation at this beautiful condo on Isla Del Sol Florida. It is direct from the airport and is located in a beautiful, safe community surrounded by water, palm trees, and a golf course. The owners take the utmost pride in their condo and it is immaculate with the finest decor. The condo is well equipped and everything is new. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the large balcony in the morning overlooking the lovely bay as dolphins swam by. The view from both sides of the condo is lovely as they have a corner unit on the top floor of a 3 storey building. There is easy accessibility to the exercise facility and computer area, games room, pool, and hot tub overlooking the bay The clean pool is a good size even if you want to swim laps and the water temperature is perfect. The condo location is convenient with a short drive east to down town St. Petersburg on the bay. You can take a quick drive south to Fort Desoto State Park where the dolphins are abundant from the pier. Walk, jog, or bike west to St. Petersburg beach on the ocean where you can stroll up and down for a long way. You can drive north to Clearwater if you like with many choices of restaurants and shops along the way as well as boat excursions. There is a lot of fun to be had yet you can relax if you desire. Don't miss the gorgeous sun sets out at the beach as they make vacationing on this west coast an advantage. The owners extend themselves to ensure their renters have a most enjoyable vacation. We will definitely return to the condo if the opportunity arises.

Delighted with our experience

We stayed at this condo in January. It was our first experience renting from a private owner but we didn't need to worry. The property was spotless and really well equipped, all the kitchen stuff I would have in my own home, lots of towels, pool towels, iron, teapot-you name it, we had it. We arrived late in the evening so couldn't really see the view, but the next day, we woke up to a view of boats in the little bay, we were delighted that we had such luck with our first time as vacation renters. The condo is on the 3rd floor, so it's very quiet-no-one above you- and it's 30 seconds to a very well-kept pool. It seems the thing to do on Isla del Sol, is to put on your walking shoes and hit the grounds every morning so we did the same. The grounds are very nicely done and we ended up chatting to different walkers every day. There's a special feel to it all because you are on an island-it feels safe, a little world all of it's own. There is golf there but as we don't golf I don't know too much about that, but there were lots of people out there on the Greens. And there is a gym there which we didn't use either, but we were told it's well equipped. We had quite a few rainy days but the owners had provided Cable TV and Internet plus phone use so we were quite happy. All in all a great experience and so we have booked 2 months for next year.
