The apartment fit 10 of us comfortably for a week. It's on the beach, has a nice balcony/view of the pool, and was nice and clean when we arrived. All 3 bedrooms have dressers and closets. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet. We were supplied with numerous towels, and the apartment contained a washer/dryer. Although not the MOST attractive, the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and eating. The living room had a nice-sized TV with cable television. If you rent cars, you are able to park them in the garage free of charge. Location is convenient for visiting (via private tours or driving yourself) el Yunque rainforest, old San Juan, the Camuy caves, Fajardo for kayaking (bioluminescent bay) or visiting the island of Vieques, and nicer beaches (we drove to Luquillo beach). Though not very cheap - most cab rides cost us around $20- it was very easy to get cabs at the front of the hotel. The super popular club Brava is right next door (thursday nights are big-get there early!). Grocery store is a 5min walk away, and the pharmacy is within walking distance. All in all, great experience!

All in all the experience for us with the condo rental was good. Initially we had a bit of a hiccup with the check-in due in part to me not having all the paperwork and the front desk not in sync with the condo owners transactions. The security, parking, beach and pool access were excellent as was the assistance of the building personnel. As for the condition of the condo itself, the furniture and living room curtains were shabby and tattered. All the equipment in the condo worked well and the kitchen was more than adequately equipped. It was especially nice to have the washer and dryer inside the condo. My only complaint about the building would be that several places were not wheelchair accessible, like the mini-mart, Jacuzzi, and direct access to the beach. I would have no problem recommending this property to my friends, family and neighbors.

ESJ Towers, on first appearance, is dated. But the building is fully functional and clean, and the individual units can be quite nice. Check that out thorougly. In our case, we stayed in a unit that was very nice, and had a great view. The location of ESJ can't be beat. The beach is clean and security outstanding. We'd go back.
