Description of the Isla Verde vacation home rental
A little big house with a lot of nice and fancy details. This is exactly what you will find at our home. Nice finishes like granite and marble in the bathrooms, flooring and kitchen area without losing the feeling of a home-like atmosphere. The house is good for sleeping 6 to 8 and with the extra studio you can add 2 to 4 (included in the base quote). Nothing is missing, we have a open plan kitchen with a professional stove and lots of space to mingle and share. In this area you also have a breakfast table and a small family room for the youngster or children to play and relax, next to this area you will find a more formal living and dinning room.

Through a central open courtyard you have the studio unit that is fully furbished apartment on its own. It has another small seating area, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom, it can be either used with or without the house because it has a separate door. This type of house layout is perfect for families and friends that travel together and at the same time want to have some privacy at times.

For an additional amount the Little House-Second Floor Unit can be also rented if you are more than 12, adding 2 more bedroom and 2 bathroom, with 2 futon-sleeping seating in the living area, sleeping an extra 4 to 6, it also has a very nice terrace with a nice view to the Isla Verde strip and Baldorioty de Castro Avenue. The house was very comfortable and a great place for a large group, following are my favorite things about the house: - 5 min walk from the beach - Very clean and well kept - Comfortable for large groups (we were 12) - A brand new swimming pool with a beautiful outdoor patio!! - Large kitchen - 5 min walk from bars and other hotels/restaurants - Short taxi ride to Old San Juan - Lot of parking (up to 5 cars) - All rooms have A/C - Very clean and nice bathrooms - Working with Karen was easy and very pleasant! Overall - I would highly recommend this property to any large group that visits Puerto Rico.

As a large group of 20-somethings mixed with singles and couples, we were looking for a place that everyone can fit comfortably that would be in a convenient location for us to go to the beach and walk to the local restaurants. This house couldn't have been more perfect for us. The location was great because nothing was too far from the house. The beach was ridiculously close so we spent a majority of the trip at the beach! The location around the house was perfect. The view from the balcony is great for hanging out and seeing all the hotels lit up at night. The area was a nice, clean, quiet neighborhood which was great because it was safe. Inside the house the kitchen was perfect and large enough to have food cooking for everyone! We were all very happy with the house. The owner Karen is one of the nicest people we've met. She is very helpful with explaining where everything is and she is also very understanding for specific situations (Cancelled flight due to bad weather!) Karen and her husband also very welcoming and were ready to answer questions and also came to the house to change the shower head! Couldn't have met nicer people! Overall my very large group and I loved everything about our stay and Karen just made it better. We cannot wait to return to Puerto Rico because we will defiantly be renting this house all over again. Also they are building an in-ground pool off the side of the house, something else to look forward to when we return!

This was a great trip. The house was a good fit for my group of 11 who came down for my destination wedding. The location was difficult to find at first, but once we had it figured out then it was no problem finding the place. It is really close to the highway (as in, it is on a frontage road), but for the most part you won't think of it or hear it. The house is a five minute walk from the beach and is close to a number of bars and restaurants. Karen and her husband Pablo are very helpful if you have any issues. If you stay here, you're going to want to rent a car, as it is not easy to walk to the grocery store and taxis to Old San Juan may get expensive (parking in the ramps in OSJ are not that expensive, either). The house is a short drive to a Supermax grocery store that has plenty of microbrew (something that seems to be hard to find in Puerto Rico), and it's not too far from Costco either. The gated patio has a carport for your car, so you don't have to worry about someone getting in to it. If you stay here, you should go to the Restaurante El Estribo one night. Also check out some of the other restaurants on Avenida Isla Verde. El Taquito has good tacos but their margaritas aren't the best.

We booked this House because of the number of people it would accommodate. We also new that the Isla Verde area was where we wanted to stay. This house met all of our criteria. We had a total of 16 people. The bonus is it is only 5 minutes from the airport. We rented a 15 passenger van so we made a trip to the house with the people then took a seat out of the van and went back to the airport and picked up the luggage and brought it back. The house is located just off the freeway on the frontage road, so it was easy access to get on & off the freeway regardless of where you are going. It was a little noisy in the front of the house from the freeway but the other areas of the house were fine. It was great to be able to walk to the beach right in the heart of Isla Verde. The grocery stores were close and made it nice to buy our groceries so we could cook at the house. The kitchen was large and worked out great for our group. The guest house out back was literally just thru the patio and worked great for the family that had young children so they could put them to bed and the adults could be in the main house. The Washer & Dryer worked great and was good to have. We cooked on the bar-b-que grill two nights and ate on the patio and it was wonderful. Karen was great to work with and answered all our questions and was very helpful with any information we needed. We had a great time & the property we found was as good as advertised and would recommend this property to anyone. Very enjoyable. We traveled to Aricebo one day, the water at the beach was much clearer than at Isla Verde, but the beaches were not as nice. We went to LuQuillo a couple of days, and enjoyed the beach up there and did some beginning surfing and it was great. We traveled to El Yunque rain forest one day and it was great. We went to Fajardo and canoed to the Biolumis Bay. It was a fun canoe trip thru the mangrove but the biolumis bay was a little disappointing. We spent a day at Old San Juan and it was fun, because a cruise ship was in port and so there were alot of people and everything was open. We also went out of San Juan and a half day deep sea fishing. We didn't catch anything but the sea was very rough. We had six of us and 4 of the 6 got sea sick. The two that didn't get sea sick took dramamine. My advice if you are going to spend the money deep sea fishing take the dramamine at least an hour before you go, so you can enjoy the trip more.

We traveled to Puerto Rico to celebrate our wedding taking place in the old san juan. There were a total of 12 people, and we rented this very spacious home. We had all the comforts of home, and were able to stock the kitchen and cook for our large group on several occasions. We stayed a total of seven days in middle of summer HOT HOT! My husband and I were the first to arrive and we met Karen at the home and what a home. A very clean four large bedrooms, three bathrooms, family area with a full size futon, one car garage parking, washer, dryer, cable, and wireless internet A nice sized courtyard where we had our family BBQâs (grill outside and provided). One of the bedroom's was in a separate area almost like a mini apartment with it's own kitchenette, bathroom, and another futon. The Ac was great especially since it was dead summer heat. We were all very comfortable and loved the home!! The location was a big POSITIVE five minutes to and from the airport. Across from the main Isla Verde strip where all the casinos and the night life (most of our wedding guests stayed). Just a mini walk to the overhead to get across to all the action!! There was a nice little restaurant/ bakery that we frequented when not having our BBQ Panadería España Repostería. Pictures do not do this place Justice. Without hesitation our next trip to Puerto Rico we will be staying here!! You canât beat the price. I mean here you pay per night but for a large home that you can split with others and itâs steps away to all the hotels. REMEMBER: When you stay at a major hotel you are paying for a little room, week Ac, Internet on a daily basis $15, Parking on a daily basis $20, and letâs not forget the resort fee that u get hit with at the end of your trip but most people donât feel cause on certain sites its in the bottom line price. HERE EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED!! Thank you Karen we loved your home and we will be returning see you next year!!!!!!

We are college students in a party of 9 that came and rented this house for the week -- the house is beautiful and has a cool garage door that opens horizontally! Very nice and open space, outdoor table with shade, access to roof(although I think we weren't supposed to go up there), literally a 5 minute walk to the what we called 'the strip' a road filled with bars and clubs(although they weren't 5 star places and were a bit dirty)and hotels. We rented cars and drove to Old San Juan, San Juan, which both are only 10 minutes away, Fajardo(where you can take a ferry to other islands). Owner met us as we arrived, very easy to communicate with. Me and my woman stayed in the master bedroom which was beautiful. The only problem we really saw was the limited amount of hot water because there were 9 of us and we struggled to put on the oven for our pizzas. Highly recommended for parties of 8-12!
