Description of the Islamorada vacation home rental

This beautiful 4 bedroom/ 4 bathroom home has a 70' dock directly behind the home . Canal leads out to Snake Creek and has immediate Ocean and Bay access. The home is located in one of the finest neighborhoods of the Florida Keys- Venetian Shores. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths and there is a separate 2 bedrooms/ 2 baths downstairs. This home is perfect for those traveling in large and/or different age groups, 2 families, in-laws or parents. The home is modernly furnished and offers all of the comforts of home, including a Heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi overlooking the water. We are centrally located in the heart of Islamorada, just 1 1/2 hours from Key West and/or 1 1/2 hours from Miami. You can spend the day soaking up the sun and relax at night in the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The house has all your will need for that Perfect ESCAPE which is long overdue!

Area Information

Islamorada is the fishing capital of the world. You are practically surrounded by water with ALL sorts of water activities at your fingertip. The home is conveniently located 1 mile from the world famous Holiday Isles TIKI BAR. There you can sit out by the beach, or take a dip in the beach. Their live entertainment offers the full Island effect. Also close to the house, is the Islamorada Founders Park, just 1 minute North from the house. There is a beach with a bar-b-que area and an olympic pool there as well. As if diving, snorkeling, sunning, boating, swimming, etc. etc., weren't enough, don't forget to spend an afternoon swimming with the Dolphins or the Stingrays at Theatre Of The Sea, which is just 1 mile South of the home. Wonderful Christmas

January 5, 2013

We recently celebrated a family Christmas at this wonderful property! The house was lovely, furnishings just right and the whole home/property/pool were clean and welcoming. The layout of the home was perfect for our family, which included a baby. Pool and jacuzzi were awesome! The home was close to everything we needed including groceries, local restaurants, and attractions. Although we didn't have a boat, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. Thanks to Arlene, our contact for this property! She was always available, gave easy to follow directions and answered any and all questions we had. We hope to be able to visit again in the future.

Great House in the Heart of Islamorada

Arlene's home was beautiful and well maintained. The home has an amazing location close to restaurants, bars, Theater of the Sea and Founders Park. If you are there for mainly Tarpon fishing it's about a 25 min boat ride to the really big bridges, but great access from Snake Creek for some great bottom fishing. The home was as described. Even though she mentioned a separate area downstairs I didn't realize it was completely separate with no direct access accept for to get in from downstairs. But it was great for us b/c my in-laws were able to stay in their own area downstairs with their own kitchen/den. Great comfy beds, clean house and den area was very comfortable. No dishwasher but no big deal. Plenty of room for a big boat and a great neighborhood. The pool was also a very big hit for my 5 year old. It's heated, (have to turn the heater on with a timer for 3 or 4 times to get it warn) but felt great! Would highly recommend this home to my friends.
