A beautiful, cozy cabin

This particular cabin that we stayed in was just beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. It had such a cozy feeling to the place, but yet so spacious! Our three kids loved sleeping upstairs in the bedroom and loft. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us. It had everything that you would ever need or want. We cooked the entire time that we were there and it was just like cooking in our own home. My husband and I had originally wanted to stay in West Yellowstone, but found no vacancy. I am so grateful that we did not! After staying here in Island Park, Idaho, a short and beautiful drive (about 20 min) from the west entrance to Yellowstone, we would never consider staying anywhere else again! If we are ever able to go another time, I would love to stay in this same cabin!

Loved the view!

We were sold on the view based on the pix we saw on VRBO. The fact that we had to off-road to get to the home made it exciting. The beds were comfortable and our kids loved playing with the cute dogs. It was great to have internet access and be close to West Yellowstone. The home was impeccably clean, cozy and comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay so much, unfortunately we spent so much time in Yellowstone that we didn't get to relax much in the cabin. Very comfortable cabin, peaceful setting, we would definitely stay again.

THE TRUTH

The hot water in the master bath did not get hot! The kitchen water was frozen for the first day. Nowhere to leave trash bags so we had to pack out garbage. Other than that what a great time. The view is great. We left a lot of treats for the next guest!!!

Staying at the other end of Island Park

My family and some of our friends stayed in this seemingly rustic cabin which had been remodeled with all the wanted features. We especially appreciated the wonderful antique furniture. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were very nicely stocked. We were glad about the location of the cabin. We have spent the last twenty years renting on the other side of the longest mainstreet in the USA. We enjoyed snow shoe trips on the nearby Continental Divide, and up the draws behind the cabin. We still cross country skied our favorite Buffalo River trails and then enjoyed the sunsets over Henry's Lake from "our" cabin. We liked the warm, cozy feeling of the cabin and the "character" found in our habitat of four days. In the past we have skied a couple of miles into isolated retreats. The short 100 yard walk to this unique cabin was well worth the effort....the snow plow never showed up. No worries, we loved our time alone together overlooking the views of northern Island Park.

Sorry it took so long to reply, but your voice mail kept slipping my mind.
We had a wonderful time at your cabin. The location was great and made a fantastic "base camp" for our Yellowstone trip. Next time I'll have to get some better flyfishing spots from you though... a day on the Madison at the
spot I picked only got me 1 brown. Still a great time altogether.
