Description of the Isle of Palms vacation home rental

Cozy beach cottage with Swimming pool, Golf cart, Garage converted into Game Room with Pool Table, sofa, GameCube,table & more! Home is located on the Isle of Palms, in Charleston, SC. It is approximately a 3 minute walk to one of the southern states most beautiful beaches. A private pool allows some people to go to the beach while others rest at home by the pool. This pool can be heated during the cooler months of the year For additional charge, call to learn more. It is close to the marina where boating, kayaking, jetsking, parasailing,and fishing . There are 4 bedrooms. The master contains a comfy pillow-top King bed & adjoining bathroom. Two of the other bedrooms have Sealy pillowtop Queen beds, and the Sunroom/bedroom #4 has 4 twins, crib, big tv/dvd. Home sleeps 8-10 comfortably. The home recently received all updated furniture, mattresses,artwork, dishes, etc. to make your vacation as nice as possible.Home has a plush tropical landscape with Date palm, fruit trees and colorful annuals throughout the year. There is a golf cart which can be used but requires you sign the release of liability, follow the golf cart rules & have auto insurance. It is only minutes from 2 renowned golf courses in Wild Dunes Resort/Golf. In addition, it is only 5 blocks to the community park/tennis courts on 29th Avenue. Rates vary according to season, so please feel free to call.

Area Information

Isle of Palms is approximately 15 minutes to downtown historic Charleston where one can view the Battery, Rainbow Row, the old Slave Market, the Hunley, the Aquarium and numerous restaurants, shops, art/museums. It is only 5 minutes to Mt. Pleasant, where one can visit Boone Hall Plantation, Charleston County waterpark, shops, theaters, and other local attractions. Depending on the time of year Charleston is full of activities such as: Spoleto, Shrimp/Crab Festival, Taste of Charleston, Biker's Week,

Great local park off of 28th Avenue (outside playground, soccer field, tennis courts, baseball field, dog walk area) on the inside there is a small work out room and basketball court.) Home is near IOP Marina and Morgan Creek Bar & Grill is next door to the marina. At the marina you can put your boat in, purchase a fishing license, charter fishing trips, gas up boat, rent jetskis or kayaks.

This is our 6th year to vacation on the IOP and the first time we rented a house. The lot and grounds are perfect with many trees and bamboo hedges. The house offers three decks in different directions so even on a cool day sun can be found. We liked the private drive and unloading our luggage was easy. The golf cart was great and we toured to the beach and marina several times. People were friendly and the area is very quiet and peaceful. We will return next year!!

The cottage was great! we used it for a mother/daughter girlfriend week.----location was great----house was clean and well stocked with all we needed.-----The Charleston SC area is a wonderful place for a vacation----God's Country---.we love the fresh seafood, the beach, shopping, culture, ... The cottage allowed for lots of girl talk and yet if someone needed a little quite time that was also possible-----we hope to make this a tradition and this would be our choice to stay----it would be agreat place for the kids to come with their children, the pool, kids area etc. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! for the wonderful memories that we created in your lovely cottage and the wonderful area;;

We didn't stay at this property, we stayed at 4 Twin Oaks Lane. It was a lot like the property we stayed at last yr. Only thing missing was a screened porch. Look forward to coming back again next yr.

The house was very clean and very roomy! I liked the openess in the living area a lot. The king size beds were very comfortable. Not having to bring linens was great - and there were plenty of pillows!! Having the pool and the golf cart was great! Very nice owners to deal with!

Had a great time. Cottage was very clean & comfortable. Glad I didn't have to bring linens. Could improve refrigerator- no ice maker, so we bought a couple of bags of ice. Loved having golf cartfor quick trips to beach/marina. Would highly recommend.
