The KANDILLI RESIDENCE, is registered a 2nd degree historical building, and was built in 1889. It is located in the Kandilli district where the original structure of all historical houses is protected and many of them restored. The district is also underprotection by governmental laws since 1950.
As you are discovering the little alleys in Kandilli, admiring the surroundings and taking photos of the old houses, you will be very close to the magnificent Bosphorus where the beauty of East and West has been merged to create one of the most stunning cities on Earth. With its sense of seclusion and peace and quite (apart from its bird song), Kandilli is like a idyllic heaven in the hustle and bustle of a modern city.

The Kandilli Residence is in the asian part of Istanbul in between 2 main bridges on the Bosphorus - the natural water channel which seperates Asia and Europe. The Bosphorus is just nearby and less than 2 minutes by walk at maximum.
The location of the house is an a very quiet and green part of istanbul as it is in the heart of istanbul. Most major touristic places can be reached by public transport buses, midibuses, taxis or boats.
