Description of the Itacare vacation villa rental

House is approximately 7 years old & has been completely re-decorated. It has an upstairs bedroom with ensuite & walkout balcony. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living area with French doors leading onto a wide, wrap-around verandah..........complete with hammocks! There is a private pool & barbeque patio with pool shower & 2-piece bath located at front & just steps to the wide sandy beach on the Atlantic. Home has a security system but this area is very safe. Nearby caretaker looks after outside yards & pool. Maid service is available if you wish. House available over Christmas as well as other dates. Christmas & Carnival rates double Would also consider Exchnge Stay for a vacation house in Europe.

Area Information

Beautiful, tranquil area of Bahia state with miles of wide sandy beach on the Atlantic coast of Brazil, and Mata Atlantica forest reserve behind. Located on paved road just 17 km south of Ilheus, the Chocolate capital of Brazil. Approximately 1 hour north is the resort & surfing town of Itacare. About 45 minutes by plane to Salvador....the "real carnival" capital of Brazil. South about 45 minutes by plane is the playground of Porto Seguro.
