3500 sq. ft. single-story ranch house on 1.9 acres directly on the beautiful St. Johns River. The river is fed by many springs and flows north like the Nile. Many grand magnolia and live oak trees with spanish moss. You can watch sail boats, power boats & crew boats and see manatees in warm weather. Naturally, you are welcome to fish and swim off the dock (or in the pool). The river is 3 miles wide with the Jacksonville Naval Air Station on the other side. If you listen carefully you can hear them play the Star Spangled Banner at 8:00 AM each morning and Taps each evening when the sun goes down. House faces due west and has GORGEOUS sunsets. House is older and well loved where owner raised his family. Owner now lives at the end of the dock in a 2-story boathouse apartment. House is now decorated for sports lovers - a PERFECT party house for a bunch of guys! Smoking outside is okay. No minimum lenth of stay for rental.
