3rd time here !!!!!!!!!

February 19, 2015

So I have to say that this might be one of my favorite places to stay in America! The owner was very understanding and nice. We had to wait out the wintry mix of two inches that accumulated on the ground and could make it out to the road til after check out which was fine. It's best to have a AWD CAR OR TRUCK to get out of the ice but I don't care it was beautiful I will post pictures on the Facebook account called misty bluff. Misty bluff is the best cabin on the arkansas grand canyon. And there are so many waterfall hikes in the area I saw 7 in 5 days in 2013. They can be easily guided to by buying Tim Ernst guide Book me and my wife only did the easy hikes. The vacation rental has everything you need. I will be back so awesome!!!!

Labor Day Weekend, Misty Bluff

Great place to just chill at the cabin or to use as a base for hiking or river trips. You can cook in the cabin (napkins can be used as coffee filters!) or go down to the Cliff House for breakfast, lunch, or dinner . Well maintained, clean, and the view is unbeatable!

We enjoyed our stay at Musty Bluff. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. Relaxing, beautiful views and very peaceful. The cabin was so inviting and had everything you needed. We enjoyed our visit to the Ozarks.

Best Christmas Ever

January 2, 2014

Since my mother-in-law passed away last May and we lost our Christmas tradition of gathering at her home for presents and eats, we decided to start a new tradition for ourselves. We didn't want to sit at the house and mope so we went on-line and found this lovely cabin for Christmas week. We arrived on 12/23 and later that night had a light dusting of snow. We awoke on Christmas Eve to the most beautiful view of the mountains and sunrise. It was such a beautiful view that we only left the cabin Christmas day to scout out the area. We would get out of bed before sunrise just to watch the world wake up and see the sunrise. We didn't bring presents to open (saved the for the return home). We turned on Christmas music Christmas day and thanked God for our blessing. It was the most genuine Christmas. The accommodations were just lovely and the view is indescribably gorgeous! What a wonderful memory and hopefully the beginning of a new tradition for us. We totally expect to be there next year if possible. It was just perfect. What a little piece of heaven. We can't wait to get back.

The cabin was plenty roomy, I especially found the king bed to be most comfortable. Good view and very private, we did not use the hot tub, but, the view from the tub was incredible. The big TV was nice, but, would have preferred recliners, the couches were a bit worn and became uncomfortable the longer you sat.

Loved it. Nicely furnished, close to main road, private but not too far from town and had wonderful views. Enjoyed the peace and solitude. Morning we left. a heavy fog had rolled in and that was kind of scary driving 50 miles on Highway 7. A satisfied guest.

Owner's reply:

We're so happy you enjoyed staying at Misty Bluff, and thank you for letting others know it's an enjoyable place. Yes, that fog can be something else...but it's what gave the name to our cabins -- Misty Bluff and Misty Creek. My favorite thing is waking up at sunrise at Misty Bluff and watching the overnight fog lift up from the valley. Y'all come back!

Amazing time!

August 22, 2011

For our honeymoon, we stayed 4 nights at Misty Bluffs. A very beautiful sunrise every morning! Plus, if you're into hiking and caving, there was plenty to do. We hit up so many trails and sights. I highly recommend a stay here. Was so peaceful and unique.

Relaxation at its best!!!

August 5, 2011

This mountain view cabin is spectacular! The owners thought of absolutely everything while furnishing. The purpose of our trip was to visit the Buffalo National River and we were only there for three hours. The rest of the time was spent in the comfort of Misty Bluff where the family had the chance to reconnect and recharge. The sunrises are absolutely amazing! Lots of butterflies, hummingbirds, and deer stop by for a visit.

Snow, Snow, and more Snow

February 10, 2010

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Misty Bluff. There was lots of snow when we got there and we spent an entire day driving in the mountains, looking at all the elk(we saw at least 100). It was amazing to see so many elk. We stayed up late at night playing monopoly. We awoke our last day there to at least 5 more inches of snow. It was beautiful. The house was way more beautiful than what the pictures show and the masterbedroom and bathroom were absolutely wonderful to stay in.
