Creek's End is located in the community of Murray, a beautiful valley at the headwaters of the Little Buffalo river. The area is mostly wooded, with some scenic river-bottom pastures full of horses. Wildlife abounds, with common sightings of deer, turkeys, and numerous other small game animals. Up in the National Forest, we see an occasional bobcat, bear or even cougar.

This home is in the middle of tall trees, provides privacy and seclusion, and plenty of room to move around. It is pet friendly and our dogs simply loved the stay! The views were beautiful, and with no street lights, etc., the skies were ablaze with stars. It was July, and there had been no rain for two months so the Little Buffalo River was dry, but we enjoyed walking the creekbed looking for arrowheads and seeing deer. The formation of caverns in the rockwall formed by ages of flowing water were like something you would see in a magazine. Truely nature's artwork. We were never more relaxed after a vacation than we were after staying at Creek's End, and the home-made cookies supplied by Annie and Suzie were a delightful treat. Would recomend th this rental if you cherish your privacy and long for secluded days and nights in the forrest.
The comment we get most often is "it's so well-stocked and clean and feels like a real home!"
