Step out the back door and hike through the mountains and pastures of a private 200 acre preserve or drive 6 minutes to a championship golf course at Jay Peak Resort. In other words, there is so much to do or nothing at all when you vacation at the Brookside Farmhouse.

pros: comfortably cozy; adorably decorated; had everything we needed; nice big foyer for ski/snowboard gear storage; great price; nice and accommodating host(s). cons: only two bathrooms for a house that sleeps 14; the arch/door ways are meant for people under 6 feet tall.
