Description of the Jay Peak vacation home rental
Nestled in the trees, above a beautiful waterfall, a nature trail leads into the woods from your front door.
This luxurious, fully furnished,open-plan home is warmed by propane radiant heated hardwood floors, 2 wood stoves in winter. Situated on a ridge overlooking the water, screened doors & windows keep this house airy & cool in the heat of summer.
The living-room, with Cathedral ceiling, loft & soapstone wood stove, has huge picture windows looking out at the trees & stream. You can relax with TV with DVD, stereo, games & books. The open-floor plan continues with a fully-equipped kitchen, open to the 8 person + dinning room.
3 comfortable bedrooms sleep 8+, in 4 queen & 2 single beds, with full linens. The 'kids' room has Game Cube with games.
The 2 1/2 bathrooms include towels.
The basement, with it's own entrance, has lots of room for play, even a dart game.
The laundry room is great for storage, skis & equipment.
Enjoy BBQ's on the spacious deck, or down by the brook at the firepit encircled by comfortable cedar chairs for 10.
Splash in the natural pool at the Point, or frolic under the waterfall, then jump into the 8 person hotub.
With a 1 mile nature trail leading from your door & walks along the water, you'll still love the convenience of being situated a 2 minute walk from the 4 Corners Minimart.

5 miles away, the famous year-round Jay Peak Ski Resort offers the best snow in the East, with 77 trails & glades, snowshoeing & cross country skiing. Those icy days are lots of fun in the indoor Pump House Water Park or Ice Haus Arena.
In 25 minutes, great shopping can be found in Newport City, located on beautiful, cross-border Lake Memphremagog.
The town of Jay, 2 miles away, hosts the Jay Village Inn Restaurant & Bar, & the Jay Village Store, where you can find just what you want. Snowmobile Tours are available, departing from the Village.
