Description of the Jerusalem vacation apartment rental

Recently built, the apartment has a queen-sized bed in the bedroom and a futon in the living room. Kitchen has stove-top, toaster oven, fridge and micro-wave. There's cable TV and Wifi Internet. Bathroom has a stall shower. A/C in living room. One flight of stairs up from building entrance. Located on Nissim Behar Street.

Nahlaot is Jerusalem's most in-demand, charming and lively downtown neighborhood. Built as a Jewish neighborhood more than a century ago, Nahlaot is a historic heritage area of Jerusalem. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the bustling Mahaneh Yehuda open market. It's a mixed neighborhood (religious and non-religious), chock full of quaint synagogues, cafes, boutiques and stores. Walking distance to the downtown Ben Yehuda St. pedestrian mall, Jaffa Rd. Sachar Park, Supreme Court, Knesset and Hebrew U. Givat Ram Campus.

Fantastic find in the center of Jerusalem! I'm almost afraid to shage this w/ others and let out the secret! Great location, fantastic price, small but adequate for the "on the go" traveler. The neighborhood is really cool and it is in the center of everything in Jerusalem. It is great being so close to the awesome Mahane Yehudah market!! Highly recommended for the budget conscious and "young at heart" traveller!

I especially enjoyed the proximity to the center of town, to the university, and to the famous open-air "shuk," as well as the charm of the neighborhood. Landlord is very amiable.
