Area Info
The property is located in an amazingly well preserved olde worlde area of Jerusalem which has been in the main beautifully and sympathetically restored with old gas streetlamps, some cobbled side streets and some downright gorgeous old Arab style architecture. In recent years the surrounding homes have been snapped up by famous artists, thespians, writers and other intelligentsia. I is also a much preferred living area for personnel employed by the UN, European Commission, media organizations and international companies.

The location just can't be bettered! It's a beautiful safe and quiet neighbourhood comfortably straddling the Jewish-Arab areas of Jerusalem and within a few minutes walk of the best Jerusalem has to offer.

Come and stay as our guest and see why estate agents are inundated by demands for this neighbourhood! We're sure that you'll agree - this is a gem of a place to enjoy the best that Jerusalem has to offer!

Wonderful stay at Rimonin Jerusalem Garden Apart

February 23, 2012

We just came back form a week holiday to Jerusalem. We stayed at the Rimonin Jerusalem Garden Apartment. Its located on the second floor of a small building right in the certer of town. We had a great experience, the apartment is nicely decorated, exactly like shown in the pictures, and the location is the best, you can walk everywhere to the old town, to the Behuda market, to the Manila shopping street,... There are nice restaurants near by and Sam;s Bagels where we went every day. The landlady is very nice and professional she will help you with any questions you may have or travel arrangements you may need. We really recommend this place to stay. We were a family of two adults three children and it was spacious enough for all of us.

Convenience and space

November 23, 2011

We had a mixed group of singles on a trip to Jerusalem. The fellows found a guest house for sleeping quarters and let the ladies have this apartment. We enjoyed the large dining/living area for our group activities. The fact that it only has one shower, puts a bottle neck on 8 people trying to get cleaned up. It is quite close to the Old City and the light rail. It is easy to get to places from here. The apartment was clean and orderly when we arrived.

Perfect location, very comfortable

April 13, 2011

My husband and I and our two nearly grown children stayed in Sarah's apartment while we were recently in Jerusalem. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the wireless internet and washer/dryer, but LOVED the little side balcony/entrance that allowed me to sit outside in the shade and read, while being able to watch the neighbor children play. Will definately stay there again. Thank you, Sarah!

Great Location

February 25, 2011

Sarah was great to work with. Our flights changed several times and she met us at Midnight to check us in and gave us a short tour. With two couples there was plenty of space. The distance from Old Jerusalem was great. Just 5 minutes from the Damascus gate. Ideal location for a walking tour of old Jerusalem. Short taxi ride to Ben Yahuda(sp).

The perfect home away from home

June 24, 2010

We just returned from a fantastic 16 days in Israel and part of what contributed to the wonderfulness of our trip was the apartment we rented on Ayim Khet Street. From the beginning, Sarah, the owner, was extremely responsive to all our emails,to the quirks of our arrival and departure schedules and to the few issues that came up prior to and during our stay. I would absolutely rent from her again. We had a number of friends who live in Israel and also friends who travel frequently and they all proclaimed the place a great find! The on line ad itself is very accurate, what you see is what you get (and more). We loved the location. The street itself is a peaceful little gem snuggled between some busy streets which means that it's quiet but not out of the way, and everything is so accessible. The Old City, Ben Yehuda, King George, the big grocery store (which we walked to and then cabbed back from), some really good restaurants and coffee places, all were within walking distance. There's also a convenient small store pretty much right across the street where you can pick up various items, juices, cookies, yogurts and a funky hardware store as well where we bought an adapter and some other items. We did a lot of walking but it was also easy to go to the corner and hail a taxi. The apartment itself was clean and spacious and perfectly fit the needs of my husband, our 23 year old daughter and myself .The space and layout is big enough so that the three of us could hang out tog

Wonderful apartment!

December 15, 2009

This apartment is as every bit as good or better than advertised - a few minute easy walk from both the Old City and the central modern market area - in a very safe and secure neighborhood. The apartment is recently remodeled with all new fixtures, furniture, and appliances. Lastly, Sarah is a very trustworthy, available, and welcoming person - she made the details of my rental very simple from our first contact via email through my departure. I would gladly rent from her again at this location or elsewhere in Israel.

To enjoy Jerusalem - stay here

October 6, 2009

Excellent Situation:Attractive buildings, little traffic with a short walk to a row of shops including a 24 hour Supermarket... In the other direction a short walk brings you to New Gate one of the entrances to the Old City. Then, a short walk through the Christian Quarter brings you to the first of the 14 Stations of the Cross which recall the traditional route taken by Jesus to his crucifixion. After that you can enjoy the glorious variety of the Armenian, Jewish and Moslem Quarters. Generous Space:The dining room, sitting room and kitchen are inter-connected with high ceilings. We were two but there is plenty of space and beds for lots more people. The generosity of the space is matched by the generosity of the kitchen with every piece of equipment one could possibly need, and of the bedrooms especially the Queen size double bed where the Queen of Sheba surely stayed when she visited Jerusalem. Thoughtful Service:Sarah, the owner, rang us before we left the UK to explain the glorious variety of Jerusalem and answer our questions. She asked us to ring her from the airport. When we rang she advised us to avoid expensive taxis and find a shared taxi which is much cheaper. By the time we arrived it was 1.00 AM but she was waiting to welcome us and explain the facilities. During our stay she welcomed our telephone calls for further information. On our final morning she arranged for a shared taxi to the airport. If you want to enjoy Jerusalem, this is place for you!

Great

September 4, 2009

We were four persons staying at this apartment for two weeks in July 2009. The apartment is clean, modern, comfortable and spacious for four or even for six people with a full kitchen and dining room. Two bedrooms have also much room with closets. The washer and dryer is a big plus especially during such hot time of the year. The location is perfect as to short walking distances to the main sights and holy places as well as for easy access to the roads leading in and out of Jerusalem.

Great Value and Convenient Location

July 13, 2009

Our family of four recently spent 9 days in the apartment. It is within a short walking distance of the Old City and the Ben Yehuda Street area. Parking for our rental car was available at a low cost close by. Much better value than a hotel which would cost at least twice as much. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen. You can also do your laundry with the washer and dryer which is a big plus. The wireless internet worked well and is included. The location provides for easy access to the roads leading in and out of Jerusalem. There are also small grocery stores within a few minutes walk to buy the basics. We will definitely stay there again.

Terrific stay in exotic neighborhood

June 22, 2009

This apartment is nicely appointed. The owner Sarah has an eye for detail and has made sure everything you need for a comfortable stay is at your fingertips: high speed internet, great remodeled kitchen, TV/Satellite, nice washer/dryer, ... you name it. The location is very near (few minutes walk) from the bustling Damascus Gate and 10 minutes from the groovy Ben Yehuda area. There is a lot of horn honking because it's near the busy intersection by the Old City, but it quiets at night. There is also a eccentric woman who lives across the street who will confront you at any moment for reasons we still don't know. She'll come out in her bathrobe and yell at you. Just smile and walk on. No parking right out in front, but a nice big lot down about a block. We brought our kids, safe neighborhood, mixed Arab/Jewish. Very colorful. Sarah is a very attentive landlord. Make sure you have cash when you arrive. Thanks Sarah! I DO hope to see you again sometime soon. the Grossmans.

Wonderful place to stay

March 29, 2009

The property was great and very comfortable, the washer/dryer and diswasher were a joy to have. The location excellent and safe with unbelievably good shopping. The owner was nice to deal with. On the downside there was no gas in the bottles causing limited cooking. The internet connection was flaky and it took 4 days to get it working properly. There was only one medium size drinking glass, no collender/strainer, toaster or iron. With a little more attention to detail this property would get a perfect 10 out of 10 score. We had a great time. Thank you.

January 15, 2009

We were a bit concerned booking over the internet yet were most pleased with the overall experience. The apartment was clean, well maintained and spacious. It exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for our needs being walking distance to the Old City, Ben Yehuda and our sons Yeshiva. We would highly recommend this property and stay there again upon future visits to Jerusalem.

Convenient

December 15, 2008

The apt was much more convenient than a stay at a hotel. We paid the price of a hotel room, but got a value of 2 bedrooms a living room, a kitchen, washer/dryer, and dining room. The apt. is clean, modern, and pretty close to everything. The owner let us leave our bags at the apt at 9 am even though our check in wasnt until 11. We had to meet our tour guide before than and were coming from tel aviv so the owner met us at the apt and gave us the keys immdiatly. Great experience.

This apartment is located in such a way that one can easily explore all the major sights and sites in the Old City. It is also a perfect location for exploring downtown W. Jerusalem. The neighborhood is quiet and the ambient architecture very pleasing. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped, including internet acccss and wide-screen television. Ideal for a quiet retreat or a family vacation.

Great location

July 21, 2008

Great location. Quiet neighborhood. Seems to mostly mixed religious and professional. 7 minutes walk to New Gate of old city, 8 minutes to Jaffa Gate. 7 minutes to Ben Yehuda (cafes, bars, shopping). Also 7 minutes to Jaffa Road, where you are 1 or 2 buses from anywhere in Jerusalem. 10 minutes to the shuk and when you return with your groceries you are walking downhill. 4 minutes to an attractive small park, where our family did not fare as well as expected in a pickup soccer game. The apartment itself is nice and clean. Kitchen has milk and meat dishes. We were 6 and the apartment could comfortably have contained 2-3 more. The contact (Sarah) was scrupulously honest and quite helpul in all respects. Highly recommended!!
