Great location, beautiful appartment
September 5, 2013
We stayed there at the end of august for a week and the location of the apartment is great, the apartment itself is extremely well kept and had every thing we needed. Also note that landlord is extremely helpful and very nice.
Beutiful and convenient and affordable

I really enjoyed the apartment. It was right in the heart of jerusalem. A grocery store next store, a short walk to the old city. (King George left on Gershon Agron and you are right at jaffa gate). A nice restaurant next door as well. Beautiful and very clean.
Very nice place

First off, the apartment is a 5 minute walk form Jaffa gate, 10 minutes fromt the Kotel. Although older building, apartment is very nice. Best feature is eating area overlooksTemple mount. Make Shabbos meal magical! Grat for family of 2-3 kids. 4 flight s of stairs but great training for all the walking around in Jerusalem. Owners live around the corner( Americanex-pats) and are very accomodating. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Great apartment with splendid views. 10 min walk to old city and 20 min walk to Kotel. Shuk and restaurants are short rail ride. Absolutely great city that you don't want to leave.

Great way to experience Israel
May 27, 2012
This apartment was a great way for my family and I to experience Israel. The apartment is located close to the Ben Yehuda Street area, and Jaffa Gate. My family of five was very comfortable and felt safe in this beautiful apartment. The owner was great to work with and the description of the property was accurate. All appliances were clean and worked well. The view and location were fantastic, with easy access to Egged bus line and the light rail system. The view of the old city, mount of olives, mount scopus, and the dome of the rock were fantastic. My kids loved the great playground next to the building and up the street. We will definitely stay in this unit again
Fantastic Location and Amenities
April 5, 2012
The location is fantastic--only about a 5 minute walk to the "New Gate" for the Old City. Lots of good restaurants within 10 minute walk and just a 5 minute walk to the light rail. (The light rail stops within walking distance of Yad Vashem, among many other places). Wonderful apartment amenities--WIFI in the apartment works great (unlike some other places where I have stayed) and the washer and dryer worked perfectly. Very nice bathrooms and well equipped with soap, toilet paper, paper towels, iron, ironing board, and hair dryer. Our family of four stayed for 9 nights and the spaciousness of the living room and dining area were much appreciated. The owner was extremely helpful in answering my questions throughout our planning for the trip and very hospitable. Wonderful value for the location and amenities.

Great location (15 minute walk to the Kotel, 5 minutes to Yafo, Ben Yehuda and the Mamilla mall.) All was as advertised and photographed. Excellent facilities and heating. The owner was wonderful to deal with, both before and during our visit. I would recommend renting the apartment and hope to do so again on our next visit.

The apartment is in an older building, but well rehabbed and very clean. Having not only a washing machine but also a dryer was a real luxury, and a big benefit in a Jerusalem winter (when things can take a while to dry on the line). The bathrooms were first-rate, as were the furnishings. The location is very convenient to the city center and Old City -- both in easy walking distance. The neighbors, though they speak little English, were lovely. Highly recommended.

A pleasant surprise!
September 6, 2011
Having not been in Israel for 23 years, I was not sure what to expect booking an apartment online for my family of 5. We chose this apartment because of location, the pictures and generally good customer service before arriving. Not only did we get that, we got much more! Extremely spacious, super clean, a real value, parking in the building (came in very handy), the list goes on. The contact person in Jerusalem is also very accommodating and helps resolve any issues right away. I did not give this a 5 star for a few minor oversights. which I will let the owners know about..Will definitely use them again.

My Wife And I And My 12 Year Old Granddaughter Just Returned From Spending 2 1/2 Weeks In This Apartment. We Found It To Be Exactly As Advertised And The Pictures Were Totally Accurate. The Apt. Location Is Fabulous! It Is An Easy Walk (10-15 Minutes) To The Jaffa Gate And The Kottel, Ben Yehuda Street, And Meah Shearim. We Were Able To Walk To Most Places And Did Not Need A Taxi Or Bus. We Found The Apartment Very Clean And Comfortable. The Landlord Was Very Responsive To Our E-mails Before Our Trip. She Was Very Helpful And Pleasant During And After Our Trip. She Returned Our Security Deposit Promtly. You Can Park On The Street From 6pm To 8am For No Charge, And There Is A Parking Lot Close By That Is Not Expensive. I Would Definitly Recommend Staying In This Apartment, And In Fact, We Plan On Staying There Again On Our Next Trip.
Home Away From Home! Amazing Apartment
August 22, 2011
When looking for an apartment to stay in Jerusalem for our family of five (2 adults, 3 children) for two weeks in July 2011, we were looking for a "home away from home". This apartment has everything we needed. The location is amazing (5 minute walk to the Jaffa Gate, Mamilla Mall, Yaffa Street, Ben Yehuda St. - 10 minutes to King David Hotel, 15 to the Kotel). We loved having our own nice, clean, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances (with everything you need), two bathrooms, Air conditioning and full washer and dryer (very efficient and fast too!)! All we did was buy the groceries we needed for our families. Cookies and Juice were waiting for us upon our arrival at the apartment - great after so many hours of traveling abroad. We had something to drink and snack on! The pictures posted are exactly what the apartment looks like. The owner responds to all of your questions (and more) quickly! She makes the process very easy, safe, and comfortable. For a few dollars, She also coordinated for someone to come clean the apartment during our stay! The building is not new but the apartment is fully renovated and has all the modern amenities you need including WIFI! We rented a car the second week of our stay and parked it on the streets next to the buidling. There is a parking lot nearby. During our stay, friends came to visit and loved it as well. We recommended it to other friends in the USA who also quickly rented it after we left. We have stayed in many apartments throughout the world and this rates as one of the top ones! After a day of touring, driving or walking around Israel, we came to our "home away from home" to rest and get ready for the next day. Upon our return to Israel in the future, we will be staying here again! We look forward to that!

This apartment was perfect for our family of four. It was very clean and had all the things we needed to feel at home. The location is perfect for visiting the old city as it was very near the Jaffa Gate. The apartment is in a residential area so you really get a feel for how life is lived. I would highly recommend this property. The owner is very gracious and helpful.
Nice apartment near Old City.
April 10, 2011
Nice apartment well located close to the Jaffa, New and Damascus Gates of Jerusalem’s Old City. The host Ann is a pleasure to deal with and provides detailed notes on accessing the apartment. No parking on site but inexpensive parking area is close by. A good location from which to explore Jerusalem and other nearby places of interest.

Stayed there feb. 2011. Great location for old city, only 5 minutes walk which was great as had babies with us. Had all mod cons for our week long stay. View of temple mount amazing. Got a real feel of local Jewish living in Jerusalem. Arrived in middle of night and no problem as electronic key pad door lock .Owner was very helpful.
The best location.....
January 5, 2011
We stayed in this apartment over at the end of December and would happily recommend it. I agree with everything in the previous reviews. The weather was changeable whilst we were there, but the Aircon/heating kept us comfortable all the time. The apartment is well equipped. But the best thing ever is the position - easily accessible to the old city as well as the more modern shopping areas too. Don't worry about finding it - it is a bit tricky, but we were sent very clear and detailed instructions, including photos, so there was no problem. This is a different experience to living in a modern formula aparthotel - but if you want to get a more real sense of the city and its community definitely go for it! One other recommendation - Easyjet recommend the hummus at the falafel bar next-door to the building as the best in Jerusalem. It was closed when we went, but sounds a good good takeaway option
Great Vacation Rental in Jerusalem!

"We stayed in this rental property for 11 days, and could not have been happier! The location is perfect - close walking distance to both the Old City and the famous Ben Yehudah Street shopping and night life center, as well as easily accessible to bus lines, restaurants, cafes and anything else your heart could desire. It is nice and quiet, and there is a nice little grocery store just down the street, with a fresh produce stand next door, where you can pick up just about anything you need for cooking meals in the apartment's full kitchen, which is complete with dishes, utensils, nice pots and pans, and staples and seasonings of every sort. The building is showing its age, but the apartment is very clean and nicelyrennnovated and tastefully decorated with every amenity you could need, including all linens and a washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable, the master bathroom jacuzzi tub for two is awesome, and the apartment is fully air conditioned and heated. This property is a really great value, and one of the best deals in Jerusalem! The owner is gracious, helpful and easy to work with, and our stay was very blessed. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time in Jerusalem!"

This is the first time my family went to Israel and stayed in an apartment, rather than a hotel, and we all enjoyed the change. It was convenient, and was a very nice place to stay. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Furnishings and appliances were almost new, and the location is excellent. There are several good cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk (At the Mamilla promenade, and Saffra square) , and we were able to walk to the Kotel Friday night. The owners are very accommodating and easy to deal with.
beautiful apartment, fabulous location
January 17, 2010
We had no difficuly finding the apartment because the owner sends pictures and very specific directions which were excellent. This property was beautiful with a fantastic view of the Old City from the balcony, which we often took advantage of. We were greeted by a clean and spacious apartment and honey cake, juice and milk left by the owners. The beds are wonderfully comfy and having a washer/dryer was a big plus. We would definitely rent here again!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance of everywhere we needed to go - groceries, food, the Old City, shopping (Ben Yehuda Street) and Lifeline for the Old had great souveniers. The apt was very quiet, clean and comfortable - exactly what we wanted and needed. We will definately come back the next time we go to Jerusalem!

The apartment is absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. Gorgeous views. Very comfortable beds. And most important we were able to walk everywhere. 10-15 minutes to Kotel, About 15 minutes to main streets/shopping. The only thing it was a little hard to find the apartment in the beginning, because the street is only one way. We would definitely come back.
