Description of the Jerusalem vacation b&b rental

A gorgeous room with terrace and adjacent bathroom. The unit is on the second floor of an old, renovated stone house in the picturesque village of Ein Kerem on the southwest of Jerusalem. The house is surrounded by a luxuriant and exotic garden full of fruit trees and flowers.
The bedroom is huge and offers a double bed, 2 single futons, refrigerator, air conditioning, cable TV, DVD player, CD player, radio FM and tea, coffee and herb teas corner. It can easily accommodates a couple and two children.
The large adjacent bathroom has a bathtub and a shower.
A large and rich breakfast is included in the price. We try to add our personal touch and taste in serving home made jams, tepanade and Challah (on Saturday mornings).
A huge roof terrace with table and chairs and two sunbath deckchairs are available for breakfast and resting.

The old village of Ein Kerem dates back at least to biblical times and is famous in the Christian Tradition as being the birthplace of Saint John the Baptist. There are many monasteries and churches and the sound of the bells adds only to the romantic and pastoral atmosphere of the village. The village has an artist colony, ceramic craftsmen and shops as well as several restaurants.
