Enjoy summer/spring activities (swimming, fishing, paintball, whitewater rafting) at our large, 5 Bedroom / 3 Bath Mountain Chalet (Sleeps 15-18) with a gorgeous view of beautiful Bear Creek Lake near Jim Thorpe. Minutes from Big Boulder Ski Resort, whitewater rafting, paintball, and many other activites. In addition to the "Great Room" (with vaulted ceilings) and family room, the house has a heated sun-room and is perfect for multiple families. Other features include Sauna, Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, wet bar, pool table, air hockey, rod, hockey, foosball, dartboard, piano, outside basketball court, wraparound deck w/Grill, Cable & Wireless Broadband in addition to a heated olympic size swimming pool, playground and 2 beaches, all within walking distance.
First Level is composed of a Large Family Room with wet bar, pool table, foosball, rod hockey, dartboard, in addition to a TV area (sofa and lounge chair) and a slate bar table. Adjacent to the large open Game/Family area is the laundry room (washer/dryer), full bathroom as well as two secluded bedrooms (equipped to sleep 9).
Second floor consists of a large open living area with vaulted ceilings and a breathtaking view of the lake. This living area is set up with a large sectional sofa as well as a "sitting area" in front of the fireplace. Adjacent to the living area is the 20 X 20 heated sunroom with a sofa/sleeper, chair, breakfast table, air hockey table and roulette table. The wrap-around deck can be accessed from either the Living room or Sunroom. Also on the second floor is the kitchen/dining area (seating for 8) and the Master Bedroom with private bath/jacuzzi/sauna.
3rd Level has 2 Bedrooms and a full bath.

Bear Creek Lake is located approximately 5 miles off the PA Turnpike/NE extenstion (Lehighton/Stroudsburg exit). This is a Private community with many amenities including: 160-acre private lake providing fishing and 2 beaches as well as an Olympic size pool, wading pool, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields, volleyball courts, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
Attractions include: Jack Frost/Big Boulder (less than 10min),
Penn's Peak (less than 5 min), historic Jim Thorpe (5 minutes), white water rafting/ Skirmish (2 min), Pocono Raceway (10 min) Hickory Run State Park (Boulder Field), Towamensing Trails (10min), Split Rock (10min). Excellent Restaurants and nightlife within a few miles (TB's Restaurant and Pub, Reily's, Penns Peak, Roadies, Shenanigan's, Nick's Lakehouse). Close to Water Park and Tannersville Outlets.
Several festivals & special events throughout the year such
as,"Irish Festival", "Wine Tasting", "Blues Festival", "Crafts"
and "The Pocono 500", etc.
