Description of the Jim Thorpe vacation home rental

We now accept credit cards.

Downtown Jim Thorpe just 4 blocks away.

This 4 bd., 1 1/2 ba. old parsonage home includes a built-in library for your reading pleasure and an enclosed porch. The home amenities include a fully equip kitchen, with all amenities; washer and dryer, along with cable television, some movie DVDs and an old Sega Saturn gaming system with a few games.

Must provide own sheets and towels. There are two queen beds, one double, one twin and one pull-out queen couch (we will supply the sheets for the queen couch so that you do not have to). Bed pillows are supplied. In case someone forgets a towel, we do have a few available.

$450 per weekend/$950 per week.
Holiday weekend prices vary depending upon the holiday.

A $200 security deposit and $60 cleaning fee is requested at the time of booking. Both deposits are refundable within 10 days of your departure as long as the house is left in its original condition.

This is a non-smoking home.

Must be at least 25 years of age to rent the house.

Outside, adventure abounds! Mountain biker's dream! The Switchback Bike Trail is literally in the backyard. You can take this trail to a lot of other bike trails in the mountains.

Summertime sports are kayaking, rafting and tubing which are just 15 minutes away. Swimming is just four miles away at Mauch Chunk Reservoir which has a sandy beach, food and bathroom facilities. Glenn Onoko Waterfall is just 8 minutes away. You can also take a scenic train ride through the Lehigh Gorge. You can walk a few blocks to the train station or drive your car two minutes away. It's a beautiful ride. The Old Jail (The Molly Maguires) is just a few blocks away. A drive-in movie theater is about 8 miles away.

Winter sports are within a half an hour away!! Blue Mountain, Big Boulder and Jack Frost are the closest resorts.
