Description of the Jupiter vacation cottage rental
Small wooden house, nothing fancy but newly carpeted, painted and clean, completely furnished. Air conditioners are window units, six of them. Except in summer, you won't need them. One of them heats the living area pretty well on cold mornings. Ten minute walk to beach, we are just one lot away from the Jupiter Inlet.
Area Description
In the shadow of Jupiter Lighthouse, this bungalow is located on the south side of the Jupiter Inlet, in a historic neighborhood where Jupiter was first settled, where the Hobe Indians had their village and where Jonathan Dickenson was stranded in 1696. Next door neighbor is a waterfront bar and marina but the neighborhood is dead quiet most of the time. Lots of motorcycle traffic on weekends though and you will hear the bar's music some evenings until eleven or so. It's fairly faint, easily drowned out by running the fan. The bar is at least one hundred yards away, on the other side of their parking lot and a dense row of sea grapes and coconut palms. I wouldn't lie to you. I'd ask more for this place if it weren't for that bar! On the other hand, the bar should be an attraction for some since it is loaded with single people on some evenings. Several good restaurants and a large marina are nearby too and you can walk or bike to shopping, movies, beach, gym, golf, tennis, etc. in ten minutes. Bikes provided!
Next door to Square Grouper Bar, paradise for singles! Lots of restaurants nearby, too. And, there is a kayak rental livery at the end of the street.
