Description of the Kahana vacation villa rental

SPECTACULAR DIRECT OCEANFRONT in West Maui. Sleeps 6. 2nd/3rd floor two story villa style condo. Very spacious with 1250 square feet! Two bedrooms, one with king, one with queen, plus one of the sofas in the living room makes into a queen bed with good mattress. This is a top floor, corner end unit with no one beside or above you! Fantastic beachfront setting, two full walls of floor to ceiling windows, skylights, cathedral wood beamed ceilings, and lots of privacy! Only 6 villas per building, 42 units in all on one of Mauis most scenic settings of 3 1/2 acres all direct oceanfront. Low rise and low density, nothing else like it. Not near any highrises or hotels! Yet, close to everything!

Kahana Village Resort, offers a lovely tiled oceanfront swimming pool with turtles and whales on the bottom, a large tiled jacuzzi, 4 gas BBQs and a covered Cabana with tables and chairs . Lovely rolling lawns, palm trees swaying, and flowers in bloom! Set on a protected reef with long beach, great for exploring!

Our condo offers quality decor with lots of art work, art glass, with that well traveled polynesian look.

KAHANA, WEST MAUI. The historic town of Lahaina is only 10 minutes away to the south, 5 minutes to Kaanapali Beach and Whalers Village Shopping, dining, and golf. Then to the north about 5 minutes is the world class Kapalua Golf and Tennis Resort.

Just around the corner about 1/4 easy walk is the Gateway Shopping Village with great restaurants and shops.

Nice apt. Clean, quiet, convenient to shopping. Daily housekeeping kept the place neat. Washer & dryer in room and gas BBQs by the pool very handy. Well-equiped kitchen. Lovely grounds. Watched the whales out in the channel between Maui and Molokai and the green sea turtles just beyond the lanai. The only reason I don't give it five stars was the off-color sea due to heavy rains the week before our visit that washed out a nearby road and caused silt to color the water brown. It was clean enough to swim in, and we did, daily, but not quite perfect.
