Description of the Kailua Kona vacation condo rental
Beautiful 2 Bedroom 2 Bath Top floor penthouse condo suite, approx. 2,000 sq. ft., across the street from Whitesands beach. Large lanai. Gourmet, fully stocked kitchen. First Bedroom has king + queen and master bath with 2 person shower. Two twin day beds in living area. Second bedroom has queen. Boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, ice chests all available for use.
This condo unit is right across Alii Dr. from Whitesands Beach / La'aloa State park. This is one of just 3 condo units in the building, and is thus much less crowded than a large condo complex. Each unit has parking close to its entrance, a laundry machine, gas grill, etc. You can also rent more than one unit to have your group together, but with your own 'space.' You are only 4 miles from the center of Kailua-Kona town on Alii Drive, and about 2 from Keauhou.
RATES: $149 to $229 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Winter rates 1-1 to 4-1 $189 to $229. Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $93.74.
Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Special rates may apply for Holidays or Ironman. Call or e-mail us for a quote.
Area Description
Located on Ali'i Dr. in Kailu-Kona. 5 minutes from the center of town, shopping, restaurant row. Across the street from Whitesands/La'aloa Beach Park and a 2 minute drive to Kahalu'u (Turtle beach). Short drive to Keauhou shopping and movie theatres. A great base to see the island from, or stay home and relax at the pool.

Loved the stocked kitchen, very complete supplies ranging from towels to spatulas, clean, airy. We could see and hear the waves from the bedroom, and even spotted dolphins offshore from the lanai. Very welcoming and home-like. We will return! Owner Supplied Testimonials
We recently stayed at the White Sands Beach House and thoroughly enjoyed it. The penthouse is particularly delightful and more than satisfies the desire for an exotic home-away-from-home. I asked my parents both what they thought of the Whitesands Beach Home Penthouse. We all thought long and hard for a suggestion for you, but came to the conclusion that our stay could not have been more perfect. The condo was more than beautiful and was stocked with everything we could have possibly needed! The views were priceless. Thank you for everything! You made our trip the trip of a lifetime!

Everyone had a WONDERFUL time! I can't really think of anything that would have helped....well, here is one thing. Since you guys have so much stuff anyway, why not get two head lamps that can be used for the BBQ when it is dark! That is the only thing I can think of LOL.. Hope to see you next year. Just a quick note to say thank you for the use of your Penthouse Dec 19-24. We had a wonderful time and your accommodations were unbelievable! Location was perfect across from the beach and so close to the snorkeling bay (1 mile). We enjoyed Hapuna Beach and Two-Step snorkeling (next to Place of Refuge) the most and of course the farmer's market in Kona, but most of all we enjoyed your Penthouse - you had everything we needed to make the whole family confortable and welcome. even Christmas decorations! The accomodations and location are excellent and we cannot say there was anything lacking... you have thought of EVERYTHING for your guest's comfort and convenience! We particularly love the master shower and the tilework on the floor

The place was great we really liked that all the necessities for enjoying the beach were provided such as beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear,coolers and sand toys. The kitchen was well stocked with most everything we could need... Overall, it was the best place we stayed at during the 18 nights we were in Hawaii, and are definitely going to try and return next year. We had a great time and really enjoyed the beach house. It was a very comfortable place to stay and we appreciated all of the little extras. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. For instance, the coffee bean grinder was great since I bought some freshly roasted Kona beans and was able to make a great cup of coffee. The location was very convenient.
