Beautiful, bright, clean unit located in an oceanfront complex with all the amenities of home. This newly renovated residential air-conditioned condo is about a half of a mile south of Downtown Kona. Next to White sand beach and Kahalu'u snorkling beach. All new furniture, linens and bedding. Perfect for a family vacation or two couples traveling together.

This complex has a stunning Oceanfront Pool were you can relax and soak in the sun. Watch the spinner dolphins, whales and cruise ships pass by. Or you can barbeque the fresh catch of the day at the poolside barbeque.

With just a 12 to 15 minute walk to Downtown Kona where you can experience shopping, nightlife and fine dining. Restaurants include Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Kona Brewing Company and numerous fine dining establishments. Come and enjoy our home away from home!

Area Information

This complex is directly on the ocean. It is a rocky shoreline (best sunset viewing), but there is a sandy beach less than 1/2 mile away. There are also tidepools within walking distance and the best part is the footpath to downtown Kona, very convenient.

Kona shores was a wonderful place to stay. The condo was well equipped and very clean. Nice pool overlooking the ocean and very well appointed. Doug 'n' Evie had a great condo with everything you could ask for. It was nice to get up in the morning and have coffee on the lanai and get ready for our very busy days. The pool was right off the ocean and the peaceful sounds of waves crashing against the shoreline was soothing and inviting. Hats off to you for giving us a great place to hang our hats while enjoying all the sights, sounds and activities of Kona.

First I was very happy with the location. The condo is very clean and everything is there to make you feel 'home'. Dealing with the owner was easy and he made everything possible so we felt confortable to rent and enjoy. Great time in Hawaii!!! I will rent this place again!

Just like home, but near the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay in this roomy condo near the beach. One of our party walked down to snorkel every morning. We also used the towels and boogie boards to have fun at Hapuna Beach. It was warmer and more humid than we expected, so it was harder to cool off the bedrooms since the windows open into the hallway. But we finally figured out that we could leave the front door open with the screen door locked to get some air moving. We were too busy to use the living room and tv, but we did use the dining room table for a few games of Farkle at night. We all loved eating breakfast on the ocean front balcony. It was nice to be able to wash and dry a load of laundry too.

A nice surprise

Loved the location. The room we had was well equipped, even for cooking. No real complaints other than the wifi was expensive as you had to purchase separately if you wanted it in your room. Hotel is a little worn, but still quite nice.

Fun Trip

My wife and I stayed at this condo last year and we just stayed again for a week in April. Good location we enjoyed being able to walk to town for Dinner. The pool was nice and is right on the ocean which really makes it feel like your in Hawaii. Good clean unit for the price can't wait until next year. Mark & Carrie
