Description of the Kailua Kona vacation condo rental

Are you dreaming of your Hawaiian vacation' Stay at one of three two bedroom/two bath oceanfront or oceanview (~60 ft from the ocean) vacation rentals located in a four-star, gated, oceanfront resort on the Big Island of Hawaii. As our guest, you can enjoy the ocean views and listening to the waves from these wonderful rentals, relax at the large swimming pool, or take in a game of tennis at one of three lighted tennis courts. Located on world-famous Ali'i Drive the Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club is a four star, gated complex located just two minutes drive or ten minutes walk from groceries, shops, theater, and one of the most popular snorkeling beaches in Hawaii - Kahaluu State Park (also known as Turtle Beach). Area Description
The Keauhou Kona Surf and Racquet Club Complex is ideally situated about 4.5 miles south of the village of Kailua-Kona, between Kahalu'u Beach Park (turtle beach) and the Keauhou Shopping Center (restaurants, theatre, groceries, medical care, etc..). Just minutes away from all the wonderful activities Kona has to offer, yet central to the more exclusive Keauhou resort area. In addition to all the other fun stuff our rentals are ideally located for visiting the Kona coffee plantations in nearby Holualoa, traveling to Volcanoes National Park, experiencing boating excursions off the Kailua-Kona pier, shopping at outdoor markets or taking a tour to the top of Mauna Kea and visiting the observatories. And it's only 3 minutes drive to Kahaluu State Park (aptly known as Turtle Beach) where you can snorkel and swim with the turtles and beautiful tropical fish. The park has multiple bathrooms, showers and vendors that sell food and rent snorkel and beach gear.

We had a great vacation!! We are rested, tanned and ready to go back again.
I have to tell you that your townhouse was absolutely perfect for us. We loved having the sleeping area apart from the rest of the unit and having a 2nd bedroom for the boys.
We were so surprised at the like new condition of everything and how clean it was. It was roomy, bright and decorated just perfectly. It was certainly not what one comes to expect from vacation rentals. There are still items in the kitchen drawers that still had their tags on them!
We ate breakfast on the lanai each morning with island fruit, sweet bread toast and sipped Kona coffee. The boys loved having the pool at their back door and were there every chance they got and played with other kids. (I am sure that some of the permanent residents hadn’t seen anything quite like it before. The last night there were 10 little boys in the pool at the same time!)
You recommendation on the beach down the road was right on as well. We snorkeled there and saw turtles and a zillion fish. We did the volcanoes, saw a nene, the boys swam with the dolphins at Dolphin Quest- Waikoloa, played with the geckos, did the black sand beach, and swam and swam and swam. We also made it a point to not miss a single Hawaii sunset!!!!
Everything is in very good order - thanks for checking! We've stayed in condos all over the country, and your's is the best one I can remember. Your website makes a great impression, but the experience thus far is even better than we expected. The flowers and gift basket were an unexpected delight.
Our son, Jack, loves the area. We walked over to the beach just north of here, and he saw a turtle resting there. He thought that was really cool.

Nice, clean and pleasant condo, had a great time. Played tennis every day, kids got a lesson from a super friendly pro, and snorkeled most every day. Only thing that would have been nice is a little blurb on how to get to the local beach, and some local color comments on restaurants, dive outfits, places to drive etc. But this is really minor. Thanks again!

As I mentioned on the phone, the only draw back was the humidity. An air conditioner would have been nice to have but the fans provided necessary relief. The area was very quiet and we enjoyed walking to the beach or sitting on the wall across from the condo watching the sunset. My grandson loved seeing the geckos and so did I. I also enjoyed seeing the different species of birds. We loved being in a gated community with reserve parking. The location was perfect, just out of the downtown area, but just a short drive away. We also enjoyed having Longs Drugs store & several restaurants just a block away.
