Description of the Kailua Kona vacation condo rental

Great Location... Keauhou Bay Resort complex has two swimming pools, one with water falls for the kids. Your are 25 yards from the swimming pools.

Your condo is a duplex (only one shared wall) with your own parking space right outside the front door. You sit on a private access drive servicing only 8 units in a small, 48 unit complex. Again, you're close to the swimming pools as well.

Bedroom has Queen Bed; living area has full size futon sofa, cable TV, DVD, and Stereo. Inside dining table, and a second table on lanai with a partial ocean view for sunset relaxing dinners. The lanai has a retractable awning for shade or sun. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, small appliances, breakfast bar. Equipped like your own home: wireless internet, boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, ice chest, laundry soap and more.

Located in the Keauhou Community about 6 miles South of downtown Kona, a block and a half from Keauhou Bay, Keauhou Shopping Center (restaurants, groceries, drugstore, bank, movie theatres, hardware store, etc.), adjacent golf course (drive overlooks the 11th hole, but behind tee so it's safe), nearby tennis courts, and more.

You are also just 1 block from Keauhou Bay has several canoe clubs, volleyball nets, an area with picnic tables, charter boats, kayak rentals and more. It's nice to walk to and watch the sunset. You can also drive 3-5 minutes to get to one of several popular beaches, including Kahalu'u (Turtle Beach), popular for snorkeling and surf lessons, and Whitesands Beach, which is popular for sunbathing and body boarding / body surfing.

RATES: $69 to $79 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Winter rates 1-1 to 4-1 $79 to $89. Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $62.50.

Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Different rates may apply for Ironman & Christmas. Call or e-mail us for a quote. Last Minute discounts available.

Enjoyed our stay at Keauhou once again. Location is great, nice and quiet. Pool was great, often we were the only ones there. Bed was very comfortable. Just a short walk to the shopping center where there is free entertainment several nights a week. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and if we needed anything you were quick to provide. I absolutely LOVED the accommodations. Although there were neighbors on either side of us the construction of the complex affords privacy. There is a wonderful sense of airiness and openness to the condo. The condo was clean and well stocked with necessities and more. We wanted for nothing. The location of the complex was ideal. It is only a few minute walk from a lovely bay and then in the other direction a shopping mall with decent restaurants, a grocery store, a drug store and a post office that was only minutes away. The 2 pools were very clean and never seemed crowded and were close to the condo.
