Description of the Kailua Kona vacation condo rental
E Komo Mai (Welcome). Our 1 or 2 bedroom condo is surrounded by coconut palms and the majestic ocean. The living area and master suite are a wall of glass facing the ocean. Sunsets do not get any better than from this condominium and the spacious private lanai.
Relax and listen to the waves come in and watch the sea turtles that come ashore and sun themselves on the sandy beach directly in front of your lanai. Whales can be viewed in the winter months just off shore.
Grab your morning coffee and relax on your lanai as you watch the surfers and the waves rolling in.
Totally remodeled throughout with granite counters,Tile flooring, bamboo cabinets as well as bamboo furnishings. Decorated with the style of the islands. Downtown Kona is a quaint little Oceanside village that offers quite a selection of small shops and restaurants to browse through. There is shopping for all tastes as well as many oceanfront cafes where you can relax and enjoy some of Kona 's world class coffee.
There is an abundance of wildlife across the island. In the winter you can view the humpback whales just off shore right from the condo. Turtles are also plentiful along the Kona coast and they hang out in front of our complex as well. The City of Refuge located 19 miles south of Kona is one of the most popular spots on the island for snorkeling and diving. There are very often a pod of dolphins that hang around this area and they will swim around with you in the bay. This is very sacred ground to the Hawaiian people and there is a state park located here.
About 18 miles north of Kona on the Queen K highway there are large herds of wild goats that often frequent the area by the scenic pull off.
Kona has a very temperate climate. The average max temperature for August is 85 degrees while the average max temperature for February is 80.9 degrees. This is the perfect temperature for vacationing any time of the year.
We are located just a few minutes drive (3 miles) from Kahaluu Beach Park which is one of Kona 's best snorkeling spots where you can see sea turtles and over 100 different tropical fish.

Besides the snorkeling, swimming, golfing, world class marlin fishing and countless other activities, one of the most popular destinations for visitors is to Hawaii Volcanoe National Park. Located on the eastern side of the island and a 90 minute drive from Kona is one of nature 's most awesome spectacles. There are the lava flows, steam vents as well as awe inspiring views across some of the massive craters along the rim road.
