Description of the Kailua Kona vacation condo rental

Large Studio Condo across from Whitesands beach and fully-equipped. Walk across the street to the best Summer beach in Kona (as close as you can get). Studio has KING sized Bed, and also a twin day bed on the screened-in porch. Small floor futons are also available for young children.
The unit has a well-equipped kitchenette, screened in lanai, and opens up onto a yard with lounge chairs, gas grills, and 180 degree ocean views.

We provide beach chairs, ice chests, and beach towels... Less for you to pack.

Fully Equipped Unit - kitchenette is fully stocked with aluminum foil / plastic bags, all the utensils you need. Grill out on one of several gas grills in the yard and watch the waves.

5 minutes from the center of town, shopping, restaurant row. Close drive to other well known local beaches, including a little over a mile to Kahalu'u (Snorkel/Turtle beach). Short drive to Keauhou for shopping and movie theatres. A great base to see the island from, or stay home and relax at the beach.

This condo unit is right across Alii Dr. from Whitesands Beach / La'aloa State park. This is one of just 3 condo units in the building, and is thus much less crowded than a large condo complex. Each unit has parking close to its entrance, a laundry machine, gas grill, etc. You can also rent more than one unit to have your group together, but with your own 'space.'

RATES: $89 to $119 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Winter rates 1-1 to 4-1 $99 to $119. Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $62.50.

Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Special rates may apply for Holidays or Ironman. Call or e-mail us for a quote.

I wish I was back at [the Beach Suite] now. It is very cold and rainy here in Seattle. I had a great stay at the Whitesands Beach suite. Your home was by far one of the best places I've ever stayed at in Hawaii. We [went] almost every day into town and got coffee at Lava Java. We used the beach chairs and rode some of the great waves at the White Sands Beach with the boogie boards. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. And one of the biggest pluses was the provided laundry machines and detergent. We really didn't need to bring anything extra. All these extras really made our vacation enjoyable and relaxing. The [Beach Suite] was very nice, a good place to relax after our travels about the island. The BBQ was very convenient and we used it several times.
