The condo and general property are well maintained. The condo is very comfortable and is equipped with newer appliances and WiFi. The condo does not have a land-line telephone. The laundry facilities are in a common area in the condo complex and require coins. The owners are very helpful and want their guests to make the most of their stay. Alii Drive in either direction is interesting and has a lot of people doing their morning walk. We did not do a lot of sightseeing this time, as we have been to the Big Island many times. Instead we relaxed and enjoyed the break from the weather at home. The condo is a very good value.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in condo 119. It is exactly as described, very clean and nicely furnished. The complex is older but very well maintained. We didn't have problems with noise but some tenants that live there do leave early for work and we would sometimes hear them for a brief time. The condo is central to everything you want to see and do on the island. A very comfortable unit, nice king size bed, a great value for the price and just right for the 2 of us! Would definetly stay here again!

Kurt and I were pleased the minute we stepped inside this cheerful upgraded studio condo. A great condo for such an unbelievable value!! Everything was really clean and maintained well. The beautiful pool right next to the ocean is such an asset. Kona Shores is located in such a convenient place. You can walk in any direction and be filled with ALOHA. We will definitely recommend this unit to our friends and stary here again in the future.

My husband and I have stayed many places on the Big Island, but this was by far the most pleasurable of all. Very clean and well kept. I love the Pool and the grounds surrounding the pool. Lots of beautiful flowers and plants. We barbequed just about every night and then would sit and watch the sunset. Always a beautiful sunset. It is very close to the town of Kailua-Kona and you can either walk or rent a car to the town area. We rented snorkel gear from Snorkel Bob's and was really pleased with the quality of the equipment. I will love to be able to come back to the BI and stay in your lovely condo. Eleanor and Robert were very helpful when we had questions. We came home to more snow, but luckily, it is not sticking. Thank you for opening your home away from home to those of us who dream of owning a place of our own on the Islands. Many, Many, thank yous and Mahalo.

We were very impressed with this neat and clean little unit. Almost everything was provided: beach towels, cooler, mats (snorkel gear and beach chairs would have made it complete.) It was close to downtown Kona (great shopping!) and we discovered some great beaches for snorkeling and boogie boarding. The condo owner, Eleanor, provided us with complete information, helpful hints, recommendations & directions. The pool was awesome with a view of some spectacular Kona sunsets. We would definitely highly recommend this cute little condo to anyone seeking a comfortable, serene and affordable place in paradise.

This was a great place to stay. It was nice and clean and updated. We made use of the pull out sofa and that was perfect. It was a great modern and updated. The unit had a nice view of the ocean and you could get a great view of the sunset by taking the very short walk to the pool area. Eleanor made everything so easy and answered all of our questions. The directions to the unit were perfect so there is very little chance of getting lost if they are followed. I would stay here again the next time we traveled to the island. This was a fantastic place to stay.

The condo is perfect for two people as there is one nice king size comfortable bed. It is well equipped however, no coffee grinder --Eleanor she would get one for future guests. The condo grounds are nice, the view from the pool is outstanding, and there is a small table where you can buy coffee, papayas and bananas every day. Unfortunately several days we were there, there were two small children that loved to scream in the pool -no fault of the condo owner though. We comfortably walked to town several times being careful as the traffic can and was quite heavy (X-mas time). There is a little market and the Garden market with fresh produce only 1/2 mile south of the condo so that was very convenient. We felt that the $65 was more than worth it and we got all our cleaning deposit back swiftly. Great place and everyone was very friendly.

Condo was perfect for the two of us. It was clean and tidy, only thing missing was beach chairs. Nice ocean views from the lanai where we watched the cruise ships. Nice pool right on the ocean where we saw whales and spinner dolphins. Close enough to Kona village but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet too. We actually had a couple stop us to find out who the new owners were so they could find out about booking it. Apparently they'd stayed in the condo before and enjoyed it. Eleanor, the condo owner, was great to deal with and very informative. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends. Mahalo!

Big thanks! This place was awesome, centrally located, and perfect for the price. Would not have done anything different. I would highly recommend someone to stay here if they're looking for a relaxing vacation.

We are very pleased of the set up of the property. It is very clean, cozy, and it comes with complete amenities. Also, beach supplies are all provided by the owner which we really appreciated. We couldn't ask for more. The owner is very helpful and easy to deal with. I would recommend this property to anyone going to the Big Island.

As promised, the property was newly remodeled and very clean. Everything was where it said it would be, including extra towels, sheets, pillows etc. The owner made sure that everything was working right and provided plenty of helpful tips and advice for the area. Condo was close enough to downtown Kailua but also far enough to be a little more quiet. (This was during Ironman week.) Close enough to walk to restaurants, but possibly drive to grocery store

This was a nice relaxing studio close to the beach and short walk to downtown Kona and close enough to drive to many of the Island attractions. Quiet complex with a large pool. No need to go to the beach and snorkel we went right off the front end of the pool and had some amazing views. This is a great place to stay for a single or couple just getting away. I would recommend this condo to all my friends and family.
