Fabulous Ocean View: Sleeps 7+ w/BBQ on lanai!

Expansive ocean views of Kona sunsets on the 18th tee of the Kona Country Club golf course.

Two bedrooms and a loft (with 3 additional beds). Our Country Club Villas home (#329) is spacious and quiet. The lanai with a panoramic view has a large dining table for 6-8 AND a private BBQ (most condos have outside community BBQs away from the units). This 3rd floor unit is just one flight up, and steps away from reserved off-street private parking.

Spectacular views from the living room, master bedroom, lanai and kitchen. Our condo sleeps up to seven people comfortably: two downstairs bedrooms (master has Cal King, guest has Queen) & two full baths (upgraded showers in both).

Up the spiral staircase the spacious loft has additional sleeping with two twins AND a foldout futon in the gaming nook (X-Box & games provided!) Great for a romantic getaway, two or three couples, and families with kids. While the adults relax on the lanai or in the living room with their own entertainment the kids may play upstairs with the games, flat screen TV/DVD player, and 3 beds. Ceiling fans throughout stir the pleasant Kona breezes.

The Country Club Villas complex has three pools (each with jacuzzi and ocean views - one just steps from this unit's entrance). There are also two tennis courts for guest use. The property’s lush, tropical landscaping is beautiful and well maintained, quite inviting for morning and evening walks. (This area of Ali'i drive is very popular for jogging, biking & walking.)

You will find the kitchen fully equipped with stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker/grinder, crockpot – and the list goes on! We have provided a complete selection of quality pots, pans and utensils for both kitchen cooking and the barbeque, as well as dishware for a crowd. Bar stools are at the kitchen counter and a comfortable dining area for the whole family is on the lanai.

Within the condo there are games to share and books to read. We have provided beach towels, tote bags, a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards & fins/snorkel equipment to keep your luxury vacation on a family-friendly budget.

Dolphins, Humpback whales, Manta Rays, Turtles and much much more can be seen nearby. (During the winter whale watching season you may see the whales right from your lanai!)

Grab your sunscreen and head off to enjoy the Big Island! A short walk or very short drive to Keauhou Bay: (ocean tours, kayaks, SUP board rentals) and Kahalu'u Beach Park (the location of some of the best snorkeling in Hawaii - home to many sea turtles) Check out the comments for these locations online at Yelp.

The Keauhou Shopping Center (groceries, CVS/Long's, many restaurants - our favorite sushi AND pizza shops - coffee shop, cinema & shopping) is within walking distance. (You’ll find guidebooks and printed material on activities and restaurants when you arrive at the condo. Also check out the Keauhou Honu Express shuttle for more family transportation options.)

The Keauhou resort district offers some of the best access to ocean activities in Hawaii AND a quiet, private location. Directly across the golf course is Keauhou Bay (walking distance) which has many ocean sport activities, a sand volleyball court, and the very popular Fairwinds snorkel cruise. Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards are available for rent.

Kahalu'u Beach Park is just a very short drive and one of the best snorkeling spots in the islands - especially friendly for those new to the amazing under (water) world of the Kona coast.

Walking distance from the condo is the Keauhou Shopping Center with an excellent full-service grocery store (deli, take-out hot lunches, pharmacy, excellent local produce & many other local goodies as well as standard groceries). The Saturday Farmer's Market is one of the area's best. Also in the center is a full-service Long's (CVS), several restaurants (many of our favorites), various boutiques, an Urgent Care, and weekly venues of local entertainment.
