This condo is ideally located for exploring the west coast of the Big Island. It is modern with beautiful tile floors and updated baths. The balcony is to die for! Very large and has a large table for dining, playing games and watching the turtles, surfers and tides! You will be lulled to sleep with the waves that are only yards from your bed. Pleasant ocean breezes keeps this condo comfortably cool. We definitely will book again!

I would rate the unit 5 stars (the condo is very well furnished with every amenity needed). I would rate the view from the lanai 5+ stars (once you get to the Lanai, you will have difficulty leaving. The view of the turquoise blue ocean against the black lava rocks is quite memorable. We arrived in whale season, so were able to see humpbacks spouting and breaching within 200 yards of the property). I would rate the amenities on the propery less than 5 stars (the pool is miniscule, no hot tub, no tennis courts on site, and one BBQ and it is charcoal) We would choose this condo again and would recommend the overall experience to anyone.

We were looking for an ocean experience, with gentle breezes, quiet yet close to everything, and absolutely well-stocked with fabulous views. The lanai was where we spent the majority of our time while at the condo, and with good reason. Waves, sufers, sunsets turtles, it was mesmerizing. The owners were gracious and helpful with any questions, and we will stay there again.

Throughly enjoyed our stay in this condo which sits right on the beach. Was able to sit on the lania and see the sea turtles feeding in the ocean below. Plenty of room in the condo to accommodate all our luggage (including scuba diving equipment)without feeling cramped like most hotels and 1 bedroom condos. All the comforts of home and the kitchen is very well equipped. Would recommend this condo to anyone and would gladly return to it ourselves on a future trip.

Wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous vacation. We really had a wonderful time on the big island, and thoroughly enjoyed staying at your condo. What a great spot! One of the highlights of our trip was watching the whales from the Lanai! As well, we were very lucky to be there while the lava was flowing - we took a helicopter ride from Hilo, and then walked to the new lookout at Kalapana on the day it opened and got a few feet from flowing lava. The four of us also enjoyed surfing (lessons), snorkeling (outstanding Fairwinds cruise to Kealakekua Bay), two fantastic rounds of golf (Kona CC and Mauna Lani), two trips to Hapuna Beach (best beach I've ever seen, by far!), and a trip to Volcanoes National Park (saw the Calderas, steam vents, lava tube (so cool!), and drove Chain of Craters
road).
We did a tour of the Kona Blue Sky coffee plantation,
which was very interesting, enjoyed their samples, and brought a LOT of their coffee back with us. Also, we had some of the best meals ever while there on the Big Island.
It was a trip of a lifetime!!
Your place was just perfect and there was absolutely no problem while we were there. We hope to go back some time in the not-too-distant future.
We stayed in this unit this winter, and have never stayed in a place more well-equipped, with the most soothing view in the world. From the ocean breezes and smells, to the sounds of waves crashing, you never doubted you were OCEANFRONT. Many units we have rented before claim to be on the water, but this one really is! Thanks Gayle, we'll be back.
I fell in love in this unit, with the ocean, saffron finches, sunsets, and plumeria. If you ever want to sell it, call us first! Decorations are wonderful, love all the KOA wood and beautiful art work. Only problem is motivating myself to leave the lanai....it's so refreshing there.
