The condo is centrally located in the heart of oceanside Kailua-Kona village. Take a two minute waterside walk along Alii Dr. through the village to ocean swimming by the Kona harbor pier, the site of many activities including the world famous Kona Ironman Triathalon which is held annually in mid-October. Also enjoy the Mokuaikaua Church, located next door to the condo and tour Hulihe's Palace (the royal palace) directly across the street at the water's edge. Alii Drive, a favorite walking/jogging route and home to many fine shops and restaurants, runs in front of the condo building and winds its way for miles along the Kailua-Kona waterfront linking many of the area beaches and attractions.
Street level shops in front of the condo building include Hula Bean Coffee which also serves gourmet ice cream, a Crazy Shirt store and a bookstore as well as several other interesting small shops and restaurants. Across the street is the Kona Inn Shopping Village, the historic water's edge complex which includes the well-known Kona Inn restaurant/bar and numerous other tourist-oriented shops, activity planners, bike rentals, and more.

Loved the location - just steps from the downtown area and the lanai has a lovely harbor view. The only nit is that the pillows and bedding could be freshened up - otherwise, it was perfect!

Condo was everything it promised to be. Clean, comfortable, quiet, wonderfully equipped kitchen! We walked right up the street to the farmers' market where we bought almost everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool and bar-b-que decks. Unbelievable how a condo in the center of everything was also so quiet! Owners' webpage and email gave us lots of ideas for fun activities. Hula Bean Coffee downstairs is the best espresso place in the world! Great ice cream, too!

Unbelievable location! The condo is so comfortable. Great kitchen. Love the screened lanai...we could watch all the activity on Alii Dr. and the inner harbour, but felt so private. Love the miah birds that flock to the big trees each evening.
We'll definitely be back!
