Description of the Kailua Kona vacation home rental

2nd Home from the Magic Sands / Whitesands Beach at La'aloa Beach Park. Gated driveway on a quiet street, yet 40 yards to the ocean. 1st bedroom has king, 2nd has queen. Two twin beds in large family area. Sleeper sofa in entry. Fully equipped kitchen, supplied with aluminum foil, dishwasher with soap, plastic bags, microwave, full fridg and stove, coffee maker, everything you need to cook a meal. Gas grill out back. We provide beach toys, boogie boards, swim noodles, beach towels, beach chairs, and ice chests for your use.

RATES: $119 to $249 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $119.78.

Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Special rates may apply for Holidays or Ironman. Call or e-mail us for a quote. Last Minute discounts available.

Area Description

Located off Ali'i Dr. in Kailu-Kona. 5 minutes from the center of town, shopping, restaurant row. Walk to Magic sands, but also a close drive to well known Kahalu'u (Turtle beach). Short 2 minute drive to Keauhou shopping and movie theatres. A great base to see the island from, or stay home and relax at the beach.

Fantastic family accommodation, October 22, 2009

Our family stayed at Coconut Cottage for the Kona Ironman and found the cottage to be perfect for our stay. Lots of space, 'water toys' and swimming with turtles at Magic Sands beach. Rekindled memories of beach side holidays of our youth.

The Coconut Cottage was lovely. I loved that we could so easily walk to the beach. Everything in the cottage was very comfortable. The beds and pillows were perfect. We had enough towels, toys, and beach equipment. We would gladly stay there again whenever we plan our next trip. Also, we enjoyed the fact that our relatives were staying just across the street as well as just down the street from us in [one of] your other vacation rentals. Thanks for the wonderfully clean and spacious accommodations.
