Description of the Kailua Kona vacation home rental

Third home back from White Sands Beach Park on a quiet secluded garden lane, yet two minutes to shopping in Keauhou, 5-7 minute drive to center of downtown Kona. Fully equipped with boogie boards, beach chairs & towels, wireless internet, ice chests, gas grill, more...
First bedroom has King Size Bed; 2nd bedroom has both a queen and a twin bed. Twin can be moved to living room for privacy.

RATES: $119 to $149 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Winter rates 1-1 to 4-1 $149 to $169. Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $93.74.

Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Different rates may apply for Ironman & Christmas. Call or e-mail us for a quote. Last Minute discounts available.

Note: there is a studio unit downstairs (the Sugar Cane Suite, also listed on this site) that is rented out to vacationers like yourselves. The units are not joined and have separate entrances, but can be rented together if you need more room.

We had a fabulous time in Kona thanks to your help in booking the Plantation Pineapple suite. The house is beautiful and it really worked out well for us. Everything was well equipped. Our 13 and 10 year old girls really appreciated the proximity to the lovely beach and the boogie boards. We saved lots of $ by stopping at Costco on our way to the house from the airport like you suggested. We had a full breakfast before leaving the house every morning and took lunch, waters, fruits and drinks every day on our outings to the volcanos and waterfalls. We went on to Maui once we left Kona and boy, we wished you had a property for us there. We stayed in a hotel and it just wasn't the same. We are looking forward to visiting Kona in the future and will definitely give you a call for accommodations. We were planning to write you a letter to tell you how great our visit was. The [pineapple suite] was WONDERFUL. You had said it was fully equipped, but we were still surprised that anything and everything we needed was there. We had no problems other than a toilet started leaking. But we called and someone came that same day to fix it. The weather was beautiful and we did a devotion everyday sitting on the porch (as we Southerners call it). It was clear weather the whole time we were there and we did everything we had planned without any troubles. Thanks so much for contributing to our awesome visit to Hawaii. If we are ever blessed to come again we will definitely be giving you a call. And anyone I know that gets to take the trip, I will recommend your company to them.

Being there with just my 12 year old son, we had a great time doing "guys stuff". My son went face to face with a big wild pig. I don't know who was more scared, pig or kid. ... We were gone for the day and when we returned the maid had pulled our stuff out of the dryer, folded them, and brought upstairs. She did not have to, but did. We have friends in Australia who we may meet half way in Hawaii. When we do, I will call.

We loved the porch. The location is great and so were all the rooms. We lived in luxury and enjoyed ourselves. The supplies of everything we could imagine was wonderful. We were very impressed and very happy there. We would/will highly recommend the Pineapple Suite to anyone we know heading over to Hawaii.
