Description of the Kailua Kona vacation home rental

Recently remodeled Studio suite with full bath, third home back from White Sands Beach Park on a secluded garden lane, yet minutes to shopping, town, more. Just 1 mi. from Kahalu'u Snorkel Beach as well.
Unit has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator in the garage. King sized bed plus twin day bed which can be either in room or out on th screened in porch. Cable TV, DVD, and gas grill.
We love kids! No extra charge for kids. Free use of crib, stroller, highchair, etc. Extras like boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, ice chests available.

RATES: $49 to $65 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Winter rates 1-1 to 4-1 $59 to $69. Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $41.66.

Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Different rates may apply for Ironman & Christmas. Call or e-mail us for a quote. Last Minute discounts available.

Note: there is a 2 bedroom unit upstairs (the Pineapple Suite, also listed on this site) that is rented out to vacationers like yourselves. Both units have separate entrances, but can be rented together if you need more room. In addition, we have a 2 bedroom cottage nearby, the Coconut Beach Cottage, listed on this site as well.

We had an excellent stay at the Sugar Cane Suite... We very much appreciated the lawn chairs, boogie boards, coolers, beach towels, etc. Hawaii was perfect the whole time we were there especially as we have had snow and freezing temperatures since we have been home. We LOVED our stay at Sugar Cane. We found it very comfortable, clean and private. Even with people upstairs, who we could hear pretty well, we felt at home. We would come back there for sure... We loved being there, on the quiet street, away from the crowds. THANK YOU!!

We had a great time and the weather was the best! For the amount of time we spent inside, we were quite satisfied with the room. We had purchased breakfast items (toast, cereal, fruit, etc) and ate breakfast every morning before leaving for the day... Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The house was just as shown in the pictures and it worked out great in terms of sleeping and eating. Everyone was impressed with the amount of beach gear. The kids particularly liked the boogie boards... All in all, the week went quickly and our 45th anniversary celebration was a big hit will everyone from age 1 1/2 and up!
