Description of the Kailua Kona vacation home rental
Beautiful views from the lanai of this 3 bedroom 2 bath home in the Komohana Subdivision a few miles South of downtown Kona. Home is on a quiet court off the main street and has miles of coastline view, including popular Surf Spots.
Large living area with cable TV. Three queens in the bedrooms and floor futons available for the kids. Fully stocked kitchen with side by side fridge and oven / range.
Extras like aluminum foil and plactic baggs provided. There's also your own Gas BBQ Grill out back for cookouts.
RATES: $139 to $189 per night. (The rate calender above is an average). Add HI State tax and a one time cleaning fee of $93.74.
Rates vary depending on season, length of stay, and number in party- kids stay free. No required stay (i.e. Friday to Friday), but we do have a 5-7 night minimum. Special rates may apply for Christmas, Ironman. Call or e-mail us for a quote. Last Minute discounts available.

It was very fun and nostalgic to be living in"our" Whale Watch Home for a week. That home has lots of memories for our family and it was great to be able to share our vacation with our adult children and some friends. ... We had a great time and enjoyed the Whale Watch home immensely. Beautiful view and great neighbourhood. There was only one day that we did not spot whales! We had a wonderful stay at your house. Good location, fabulous view, and plenty of space for our family... The beds were great, as was the weather. And thanks for supplying the baby items, i.e. crib, high chair, toys etc. We also appreciated the boogie boards, beach toys, and flippers. We had a really great time. The house was beautiful and well equipped. There were plenty of cleaning supplies and bags, foil, et cetera. Everyone slept comfortably and soundly. We also really appreciated not having to rent our own body boards. Our experience was totally positive. Very little to improve on in the house - it was very comfortable, beds were great (I've a bad back and didn't have any problems), kitchen was well fitted out, etc. There was nothing at all we needed that wasn't there, the place was very clean and well maintained and it was the first property we've rented anywhere that has had so many supplies in - normally you have to go out and buy cleaning supplies, etc., and it was great to have everything there. - Des & Maria Meagher Slane, Co Meath Irland July 2008
