Description of the Kailua-Kona vacation home rental

You will love this home! It has a wonderful 180 degree Ocean View and huge crystal blue swimming pool with lava rock waterfall. Guaranteed the best value for your vacation dollars.
This home can accommodate a large crowd of 12 comfortably or is available for smaller groups for reduced rental rates.
It was built as a bed and breakfast, and has a large kitchen with two islands and is very well equipped.
All the bedrooms on main level are situated around the pool. The bedrooms are all equally large, having a full bathroom, new king mattresses (most pillow top), down pillows and quality linens.
There is usually a gentle trade wind at this 800’ level of the home, so there is no need for AC, but there are ceiling fans in all rooms.
The family room on the lower level with two full size spring mattress futons and AC. There is a large bedroom on this level with queen bed and tv.
There is high speed Verizon DSL and WIFI. TV's in every bedroom and living room. VCR and surround sound in living room. Beach towels, beach equipment, hairdryers in all bathrooms.
The back yard is totally secluded with private lanai and big bamboo outdoor shower. It has plenty of room for games in the big grassy yard. It would also be suitable for a small reception or wedding. There are fruit trees and tropical flowers galore.
You are only 5 minutes to Magic Sands Beach (white sands beach) and 7 minutes to downtown Kona. Only 2 miles to Keauhou shopping center and golfing. The the Walua Trail (good 3 mile walking or jogging trail 1/4 mile away. Kona town is about 10 minutes and airport is 15-18 minutes away.
It is in a very safe neighborhood of million dollar homes. Often you can smell coffee roasting from the coffee farms above the home.

This upscale neighborhood is a dead end street and has million dollar homes. There is a 3 mile trail (Walua Trail) 1/8 mile down street. The home is only 3 miles from White Sands Beach and Keauhou Shopping Center and Kona Golf Course.

Rooms were excellent ,pool was nice it could have been a little warmer, the kitchen was nice the laundry room was constantly used and the two fridges keep the beer cold, great backyard and the bbq was used often. The geckos added a little excitement. We were very close to a major hwy so we were within 5 minutes of great shopping. The "vog" was always present and thus created hazy conditions most of the time; the best ocean viewing was in the morning. the manager was extremely helpful with the concerns we had and arranged a home for us as we waited for our late flight. A great 16 days !

Our family of 10 was very comfortable in this well equipped and beautifully furnished home. Everyone loved the king sized beds and seperate bathrooms, the master bed/bath was especially nice. We really miss the great ocean views, peaceful mornings and fantastic sunsets. While the house was in a neighborhood we never once heard or even saw anyone while lounging in the pool area or beautiful back yard, giving a feeling of seclution. Highly recommended!

02/05/09 There were 11 of us in our party. This house worked out great for large parties. We came over for Christmas and New Years and had a great time. Although there is not a dinning room table we did eat out side and used the table out there. It was really nice to have 2 dryers with all us washing our clothes. 12/01/08 The lay out of this home is perfect. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and a sliding glass door to the pool. We spent a lot of time in the pool. The geckos have wonderful coloring!

11/17/08 WOW! What a great place to spend some time relaxing by the pool, tons of privacy, and minutes away from Kailua-Kona. We stayed with 8 other friends for 2 weeks. Plenty of room for everyone,(king beds, separate bathrooms, and TV's in every room) and the veranda was large enough for everyone to enjoy. The home is well equipped, located in a very nice area,(just high enough to stay comfortable in the hot of the day) and Tina is the best! We highly recommend this vacation home. And we'll be back.

02/17/08 Our stay at Nohealani was great! It is very clean and well equipped just like home. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are quite large. It was nice to be able to lounge in complete privacy around the pool. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the view of the ocean was wonderful, especially the sunsets over the water.

12/10/07 The place was lovely, and perfect for several couples. The kitchen was fairly well-supplied with tools and dishes; it made the whole vacation a lot more pleasant to not *have* to eat out every night. A word to the skittish - the open plan of the house allows for lots of "extra houseguests" - the geckos were kind of fun but there was a very large spider who gave me quite a start one morning. Close to everything, but still private. The neighbors shared their star fruit with us as well!

We left this guest comment in for a reason. There are screens on all the windows and doors to prevent pests from coming inside the home--but they only work as long as you keep them closed.

05/22/07 We had such a wonderful vacation based at this house. We loved having breakfast and/or dinner outside next to the pool. It was relaxing, often with a cool breeze, and the view of the harbor was a lovely backdrop. The kitchen and main living room was often a hub of activity for our family (if the kids weren't in the pool) and conveniently arranged. The master bedroom and bath were spacious and my husband and I felt pampered. We liked the fact that a grocery store, post office, and a popular snorkeling beach were nearby. If you have a car, even downtown Kona, Honaunau, coffee plantations, and Kohala beaches are a reasonable drive away.
