A real home away from home in a truly comfortable house. The elevation is just right to be about 10 degrees cooler than the sweltering oceanfront properties and with our tradewinds and the strategic use of windows and screened doors along with the front lanai area and access to all the yards on an acre of land, you'll enjoy being able to stretch out & smell natural cool fresh air many would envy (and you can hear nature instead of fans and compressors). Private entrance, full bath with tub and shower, small kitchen with full sized frostless refrigerator. VCR/DVD/Satellite with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and local news channels. Kona Comfort Charming Studio is flexible enough to be a retreat, a lover's nest, a place to land for school teachers and those on business trips, a bridge between arriving and your other booking -- even for those staying several months for jobs. Outside our property extends past most people's clear range of vision. People are known to go out and take morning and afternoon walks in the neighborhood. We have coffee, banana and star fruit trees which you can partake of when in season (well the coffee might be a bit of work!)... Many of our visitors tell us how much they enjoy RELAXING because the house feels like home. We intentionally did not scrimp on the bed -- after all if you don't get the best night's sleep it would not matter if you were in a palace -- but we thought of that and we get complimented all the time. On the grounds are more lounge chairs, a barbecue grill and a picnic table.

We discount according to length of stay: 7 days 5%, 14 days 10%, 21 days 20%, 28 days 25%, 30 or more days 35%!

Live like a local would live. We know what is authentic and what is mass duplicated, our spaces are not thrown together carelessly and took years of development. We know what really counts to make a vacation visit go smooth and then we care enough to provide it. The location you select is very important.. first you probably won't be as happy at a low elevation or one near the crowds and traffic. What we have is a location at a good elevation -- and not too far nor too close to the major stores and attractions. Our acre of land is situated in a neighborhood of 1 acre or larger lots -- known for peace and quiet, very much like a rural setting where you can see the stars at night and yet jump in the car and go up the street to Kay's for a mixed plate or a local style hamburger. Or go down the street to make a quick trip to Wal-Mart or rent a video at BlockBuster. The insides are unique and full of attention to detail and we bring them to you not just clean but SPOTLESS -- try to find that at a boxed condo rental! We do have people who book ahead and we frequently have to turn down those who want big chunks of time so don't be left behind book in advance to get to come back home to sanity and peace by staying at Kona Comfort Charming Studio! WIFI internet is transmitted from both sides and covers most areas in and around the house. Wireless phone for local outgoing calls upon request. Roll-a-way bed upon request. Guests who stay for a week or longer gain access to washer and dryer.

• Deposits: We require a $55 Damage Deposit for this Apartment which is refunded back to you within seven days of your departure when you are in good standing. To get your booking on the calendar and HOLD your unit we will require at least $500 down with the balance paid 60 days before arrival if the amount is greater than $500 and if you are arriving in more than 60 days, otherwise the total amount is due at the time you book.
   
• Other Fees: Your rent is calculated from a base rent plus an extra person charge. If you wish to register more than 2 occupants, plplease advise & pay the extra fees prior to checking in. The additional rent is $15 (plus taxes) for each person or an automatic charge of $35 for unregistered occupants. There is no cleaning fee. We expect the rental to be left broom clean with dishes washed, trash taken out, food removed, common sense and courtesy.
