Daniela was very upset with her choice. I did everything in my ability including chauffeuring the couple to a hotel in town, comping them one of the 2 nights remaining . When she forgot her earrings in her hast to leave, we delivered them to her hotel 30 mins away. This was a sad situation that a phone call or more research would have prevented. My suite is centrally located to many activities. I have never had anyone visit the Big Island without a car, nor would I ever recommend it.
As for the map, I found out this morning Vacation Home Rentals has improved the map and is now asking for addresses to make sure the distances of lodging are clearly stated.

About:I came to the Big Island of Hawaii in 1985 as a Food and Beverage Director for a small Hawaiian Resort. I fell in love, got married, had a son, opened a restaurant (12 yr and closed in 2008). Now, find myself a single empty nester in a house too big for just me... I think I have been watching too...
