Hale Kai O'Kona is an exclusive oceanfront Hawaii vacation home one mile south of the town of Kailua-Kona, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our home is a 2400 Sq. Ft. end property with no connecting walls. The beauty and privacy of this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home is unsurpassed.

Whale, dolphin, turtle and other marine life have all been spotted directly from our lanais. Area Information

Both the Living Area and Master Suite have Oceanfront Lanais that run the full length of the home. Unobstructed views of Hawaii's Pacific Ocean, Whale, Dolphin, Turtle, Rays, and other marine life can be observed directly from the lanais.

The surf, sandy beach and black lava are only a few yards away. Restricted beach access ensures privacy and seclusion.

Turtle Cove, with a beautiful and private sandy beach is just steps away. Turtles and other marine life often come within very close distance to wading areas in the cove.

White Sands Beach, a popular surfing spot, is just minutes away. Old Town Kailua-Kona is less than 2 miles from your door.

This house is amazing! We loved every minute of the 5 days we were here and the views are spectacular. Mom came all the way from Houston to spend her 90th birthday with us. However, she definitely does not look or act her age, more like a young 70! She said just sit me down somewhere I can read my book and look at the ocean. This place was our present to her- much to her surprise and delight. There were 7 of us from great granddaughter 20 months, granddaughter, husband and grandson in their 30's to son and wife in 60's and grand dame 90! Everyone was so comfortable with their own room and space and the outdoor decks and lanai dining table was the hub of activity for all meals. Its well equipped with everything my own kitchen has for cooking and serving - and the beds are the best we have ever slept on . The convenient location makes it easy to get to the store or do any shopping within 10 mintues, but the privacy makes you feel you are miles from civilization and truly in old Hawaii. We were treated to a whale parade on her birthday that went on for over an hour -- the likes we have never see - and we live here in Kona. They played and flapped their tails and breached as if just for her. We loved the Queens bath, and it was perfect for cooling off and then getting into the hot tub. In the mornings everyone would get up, grab their coffee and sit on the lanai and watch and surfers and boogie boarders from our front row seats. We had some giant waves on the weekend that were spectacular. It was a truly wonderful experience for the entire family and a memory we shall cherish. We hope to continue to have family reunions as everyone wants to come to Hawaii - Hale Huna Kai is the perfect spot for all of us. Wayne was terrific in extending a late check out on our final day so we could take Mom straight to the airport from the house. My only recommendation is the sliders to the ocean need a little repair - they are difficult to close and the runners are a bit worn. Other than that - we loved the place and would recommend it to families with kids of all ages, or adult couples for a quiet escape. Thanks for making it such a special vacation for all of us. VACATION PARADISE

This was our 3rd vacation at this lovely townhome, and our family was delighted once again with the comfort. Incomparable views from the lanais, with waves breaking less than 50 ft. away. Lovely furnishings, clean and easy to live in. Every meal was eaten on the lanai - from the first cup of coffee to the last bite of the evening meal.

This townhouse was lovely as well as comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful oceanfront view, listening to waves 24/7 and being so close to Kailua Kona. The only thing we wished for was a swimming pool.
